"Don’t listen to other negative reviews, dogs can’t be monitored from biting playing too rough with others 24/7 and just like daycare dogs can unknowingly come in asymptomatic of sickness until they spread a cough. This place is phenomenal and the owners/trainers truly care about your pets, we get random photos of the pups learning their new skills. It’s well worth the money, the owners treat the babies like they are their own."

"Our DOGS love going to canyon View Ranch…they have so much fun They take good care of our boys. Highly recommend"

My dog Rex went here for 10 years. He was trained boarded and then I continue to bring him for play dates. They were so good with him. They trained him to do everything I wanted and took care of all my concerns. The facility was clean the dogs were all happy and had so much room to play. I like to call this place Disneyland for dogs. They have their giant swimming pools made out of bones, fun, tunnels, and separate dog areas for different sizes. It’s never overcrowded and my dog is always happy when we show up wagging his tail and cannot wait to get out of the car to see all of his friends, I would recommend this place to anyone wanting boarding and or training the owners and trainers give so much love and care to the dogs. You will feel really good. Leaving your babies here. We love this place.

We are so grateful to Joe, John and the whole team at Canyon View Ranch. Our four-year-old poodle went there for a one month training and we couldn’t be happier with his behavior back at home. We especially loved all the lessons that we had with our trainers and their attention to detail when it came to correcting us for using the proper commands. Our dog never cried when we left so I felt that he was just really happy while he was there and we got great updates throughout his time there and they checked in with us within 48 hours of leaving which was a lovely surprise we all definitely use Canyon view ranch for more training in the future with another dog and for boarding with any of our dogs. The entire property is so meticulously taken care of and so clean and just a joy to visit.

We left our 1 year old Labrador at Canyon View for about 9 days. We had previously left her with them a couple nights to test her. Our puppy is a very shy pup and she scares easily. But each time that we picked her up she showed us that she genuinely enjoyed being there and enjoyed seeing all the staff. She is a dog that makes it clear when she does not like people or experiences by running away and hiding, and I have to say that I was nervous to leave her, but she really did amazing each time! For her most recent, longest stay we also did training for her and they really did teach her a lot! And it was all important lessons that will help to keep her safe. Like i previously mentioned, she is a shy pup so she really made them work to let them get close and understand her to train her. Canyon View gave me peace of mind and now I have somewhere safe to leave my little girl, and I know that she will enjoy her time there, learn something and be under good care!

While the staff is friendly and welcoming, I've had a frustrating experience with this facility after two disappointing stays with my dog. At $100 per night, this is one of the more expensive boarding options in the area, but the service falls far short of the premium price point.

During our stays, there were several concerning issues:
* Only half of my dog's provided food was given to him over a 4-day stay, despite clear feeding instructions. However, during the next stay my dog was properly fed and had oversight from ownership, and I appreciate the effort to ensure that this didn’t happen again
* I paid for training services but received zero updates, reports, or reinforcement tactics - I have no way of knowing if any training was actually conducted
* I was charged for a bath that was never given - my dog came home quite dirty
* Promised refunds for the training services and bath services were never processed -- after confirming TWICE
* A cut on my dog's nose was not communicated to me at pickup, despite a supposed regular inspection protocol

The lack of communication and attention to detail is particularly disappointing. While I appreciate the friendly attitudes of the staff, it doesn't make up for the operational oversights and unfulfilled services. For a premium-priced facility, I expected much better service and accountability.

My boyfriend went here to have my baby Spirit trained . She came out with hot spots all over her body . I have saved up for months to get her here because of the amazing reviews and to get this kind of treatment for hundreds of dollars per day . This place is not worth it . They keep 100s of babies stuck and very negative energy. The kennels are not equivalent to the size of the dog . My baby Spirit had scratches all over her body . This is how I know that the cages are not fit for the size of dogs . My baby Spirit came home so sad and lost weight. I will never use and recommend this boarding facility. I hope this helps everyone. I never write bad review but this had force me and made me so mad that I had to say something honestly. As you can see I don’t have many reviews written for any business but this one.

If you have to board your dog, nothing else compares. A bunch of happy, well-cared for dogs and a super nice, caring staff.

I forgot to mention. One week before my 2 week vacation, my 8 month old puppy went into her first heat. Canyonview had special provisions so that Emma would be able to safely socialize in all-female groups. At the same time, they provided some behavioral training.

I got back a happy puppy who now knew how to walk on a leash, stay in place and not jump up on people. I couldn't be happier.
