I can't say enough about Elevated Canine! Our dog, Ziggy, is our first dog we've owned (outside of growing up with our parent's dogs) so we were definitely in need of essential foundation training work. We wanted our dog to learn basic obedience, walk loosely on a leash, and eventually be trained to walk off leash. We also wanted to learn how we can fulfill the needs of our very high energy working breed (Ziggy is a male euro Doberman) and begin sports foundation work like agility.

When we reached out to Elevated Canine, we were paired with Felipe Baeza. Felipe has been a HUGE help with Ziggy's foundational obedience and overall behavior at home. Felipe is patient, knowledgeable, and really understands how to communicate with dogs (and their owners!). He always took his the time to understand Ziggy's unique challenges and created a customized training plan that addressed everything, from walking politely on a leash to coming when called.

Not only did Ziggy improve in obedience, but we also gained the confidence and tools to continue training at home. The transformation in my dog has been incredible, and walks are now enjoyable instead of stressful. We also learned how to REALLY play with our dog and through that, our relationship with Ziggy has significant improved. He taught us how to actively engage with Ziggy using food and toys plus he taught us interactive games with obedience to ensure Ziggy builds impulse control and continues to listen to us.

Felipe also opened the door to the dog sport, IGP (Schutzhund), and we are now actively training with him to compete. Felipe has been an instrumental part of Ziggy's IGP training and continues to help guide us on each exercise with compassion and patience. Felipe also provides us with information on workshops and will send us videos to help us understand the details of the exercises.

We also had to travel out of the country for a few weeks and boarded Ziggy with Elevated Canine as well. Roel was our trainer to help and he is seriously amazing!!! He texted us with updates on Ziggy's training and helped improved his focus heel and about turns. He also trained Ziggy in different environments building his confidence further. Roel is super knowledgeable and we're very grateful he was able to help board and train Ziggy.

We never knew we'd love training our dog so much and we discovered all of that through Elevated Canine. We're so appreciative of everything we've learned and continue to learn from Elevated. If you're looking for dog trainers who truly cares and gets results, I 100% recommend Elevated Canine! You won't be disappointed!!

I can’t give enough praise to Elevated Canine and our trainer Peter in one short review, but I will try, because they showed us a life where we could keep both of our dogs that we love. We had gotten to a point that our 18 month old female purebred Rottweiler was challenging our 5 year old female Rottweiler Shepherd mix, which was becoming tough, as they are both very alpha girls. What was once tough became a nightmare with them fighting anytime the other was in their eyesight. We have had our mix since she was a puppy and had just rescued the purebred when she was 13 months old. We love them both and almost gave up hope and were looking to re-home the purebred, when we ran across Elevated Canine online and decided to try an attempt at training to see if we could keep her and fix the problem. We messaged them late at night on a Sunday after a terrible dog fight and Mark contacted us first thing Monday morning. That same week they got us hooked up with Peter who has led us through our journey of training (both us humans and the dogs!!). Not even two months later, we have two much more well adjusted dogs who know that fighting is not tolerated in this house. We just had a couple of days of rain and both were inside all day together. We couldn’t have imagined even being able to keep both dogs, let alone having them inside in close quarters together. Peter really did change our lives and our dogs’ lives for the better. If you are needing a trainer, or are even on the fence, contact them. You and your pets will be better for it.

WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!!!! If i could give 6 stars I would!!

I adopted Charlie, a 1 year old Belgium Malinois mix in Nov 2020. I knew what I was getting into with a mal, and thought I could do training since i worked from home. While Charlie was pretty good on leash walking and listened to some commands (like sit and down), he had was a handful. I tried taking him out and would get slightly aggressive on the leash, with other dogs, and would not listen / wait if I took him out in public to lunch or something like that.

A friend recommend ECA (his Mal was trained by Oscar, the Owner) but I was nervous since they trained his pup at 3/4 months old, verses my rescue (who by this time was 2.5) I decided to at least take the assessment for the board and train program and was connected with Chris C. IMMEDIATLY could see a difference with how Charlie responded to him. I ended up sending him off for 5 week and got him back in May of 2022. I can not stress enough how much my dog has changed for the good!! He is calm in outdoor situations, listens to me and I have built a stronger bond with my dog than I ever thought I could have. My friend (who met Charlie the day I brought him home) was astounded when he met us out for lunch and Charlie not only recognized and got super excited to see him, but WAITED till I released him. I can confidently take him in public places and have a super behaved dog.

Chris really knows what he is doing and is passionate about training dogs. He also is a fabulous trainer for people! He worked with myself and my folks (since i travel a lot and leave Charlie with them a lot) to help make sure we know how to command Charlie, hold him accountable, and continue building the bond with him.

I was so please - I went on with additional individual classes to continue training and we are now working on confidence building and continuing recall work.

This was probably one of the best investments I could have made and would do it again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY recommend them to anyone not only looking to train their dog, but build a better relationship with their furry friend!

I called Elevated Canine for guidance on our young zoomie leash pulling lab. Mark set us up with a trainer. We met with our new trainer for an evaluation. Chris Calabrese brought lots of enthusiasm and expertise to the task. Watching him work with my lab was encouraging. You could see him bringing out the dog's potential. We have weekly assignments from our sessions. When I have questions later, Chris makes the effort to provide more guidance. Within a couple of sessions we already have improved communication between owner/handler and dog.

We are so happy that we found Elevated Caine. We have a beautiful Golden Retriever. He is named Thaiger. He comes from a home of people from the USA and Thailand. That is were we came up with the name. Naming him we did good in my opinion. Training him we did not at first. We tried 2 trained and ll we got were weak trainers charging us a lot of money. And when we met Oscar and told him out story he to a the challenge himself. By the first day he showed us what he was doing both on text and instagram. He put both love and interest to get are needs completed..after or first training we our dog change so fast for the better. We are looking for are next time with them to finalize the training that we need, We just want to thank Oscar and his team for taking in the challenge

Our decision to sign up with Elevated Canine Academy has been the best we’ve made for our two dogs, Tank and Daisy. We had two very smart dogs but we did not have the tools to teach them anything other than some basic obedience and fun tricks. After alot of research, we decided to sign up for private sessions with ECA and were paired with Trainer Chris C. Chris has been amazing in getting our dogs on track to meet their full potential. We came to Chris with two dogs who have wildly different personalities and he adapted his teaching style to each dog and taught us how to do the same. Every week we come to Chris with new things that we want to work on with Tank and Daisy and by the end of the session they’ve got it, leaving us with only the task of maintaining what they just learned. Chris has made training easy. The best part about this experience is that our dogs love the training and adore Chris. They look forward to our weekly training sessions with him which reinforces our decision to start this training journey with ECA.

Where do I begin... Let me start off by saying that sending my dog to board and train with Elevated Canine Academy was a complete game changer!! We got this girl during peak COVID times and although we put in a ton of work with her from 7-8 weeks old (now 15 months), she started showing signs of concerning behavior associated with fear and lack of confidence. This meant that taking her anywhere was an ordeal and stressful for everyone (her included). Additionally, she is very instinctive and when she wants to go... she goes!!! This meant that walking was not enjoyable for any of us.

Fast forward 3 months after she returned from board and train with Elevated, she is a completely new and improved version of herself. Her obedience is next level.. she responds the first time with consistency. She continues to build on her confidence and I can take her anywhere with me now, which has opened up a world of discovery for her. I myself have the tools to make sure she gets the most out of the experience and situation, knowing what to do and how to manage different scenarios. She looks to me for guidance and reassurance vs. freaking out and taking matters into her own hands. Lastly, she’s a totally different dog on the leash with walking, doesn’t tow me along anymore and we run together all the time. She loves it!!

Oscar, Darshan, and Alexia are some of the nicest and most knowledgeable folks in terms of training your dog and getting the best out of your dog. Not only have they taught me and my girl a ton, they continue to provide guidance and answer questions I have about different things. To me, that’s white glove service for you. We’ve built up a solid rapport and have become good friends. To anyone who is questioning whether or not training your dog is worth it, I have one piece of advice for you... don’t think on it, just do it!!! You’ll thank yourself later and your dog will thank you too.
