Jenn treats every dog like her own, and you can immediately tell she has a natural connection with animals. Cowboy was terrible on a leash before he started working with Jenn, but now he walks confidently by my side. He used to refuse to get out of the car in public, but now he’s eager and self-assured in new environments. Another huge improvement has been his ability to stay in "place" while I'm on Zoom calls for work, rather than roaming around the house. He would also never voluntarily go in his kennel and now he walks right in.

Jenn not only worked wonders with Cowboy, but she also helped me understand his needs and how to work with him effectively. Her expertise, dedication, and genuine care for each dog she works with are truly remarkable. I recommend Jenn and Beachwood K9 to everyone. Our puppy, Duncan, has stayed with Jenn on numerous occasions, both for longer Board and Train programs, and for short weekend boardings.

From a technical standpoint, Jenn has transformed our lives in our house, on walks, and at the park. Duncan is a handful of a puppy, but at just under a year old now, he is well behaved and understands what is expected of him. He heels on walks and listens to basic commands, willingly enters his crate when asked, stays on “place” in the house, and is building strong re-call skills when off leash. This is all a product of Jenn’s Board and Train program, but even more importantly, her emphasis on teaching owners how to properly keep up with training after your dog leaves the program.

Jenn makes the nerve-wracking process of leaving your dog with another person easy and seamless. She is trustworthy, communicative, flexible and caring. We choose to leave Duncan with her over close family members all of the time because it comforts us knowing he is well-taken care of and in the most capable hands.

I would recommend Jenn and Beachwood K9 to everyone and she is our only choice when it comes to all things dog training, boarding, and advice.

Jenn is the absolute best dog trainer! I adopted Wesley from her as a 7 month old puppy after she trained her and took the best care of her for 4 months and it has definitely made such a difference in Wesley’s obedience level and confidence. Not to mention the training and skills she taught her are so transferable and easy for me to continue doing in my own home too. It’s also so relieving and amazing to be able to drop her off when I have a trip and not have a single ounce of anxiety - knowing Wesley is in the best care and she’s always so excited walking up Jenn’s driveway. Honestly, I could not wait to write this review. We sent our rescue puppy who was about 10 months old to Jenn at BeachwoodK9 for a 3 week board and train session.
Mabel wasn’t a “bad” dog, she just needed to learn some serious manners. When she came home, the girl not only had manners…but she is a really well trained dog.
Jenn made this possible. I loved that she included my husband and I in on the training so that we can continue her lessons at home too. Billie was the most challenging dog in terms of allowing me to put her collar and leash on her. Every time I attempted, she would run away, not sit still or try biting at it. It got to the point where I had to lure her in with peanut butter to distract her when I put it on. Yes, that was the only way I found that worked. After her tools were on, walks with Billie were frustrating and stressful. She would either bite at the leash the entire walk or smell every blade of grass and take thirty minutes to walk around the block. I would pull her to continue, and then she would get the zoomies and almost take my arm off. Walking my dog wasn't fun, and I needed help.

Then, I met Jenn, the most wonderful dog trainer I have ever encountered. She's a dedicated dog trainer committed to making dog ownership enjoyable, peaceful, and fun! She is highly knowledgeable and has a natural connection with all dogs.

After I sent Billie to a three-week board and train with Jenn, Billie has given me zero problems putting on her collar, e-collar, and leash. When I put her tools on, she's excited, wagging her tail, and sitting calmly! Billie is also doing great on walks because we are actually walking, and she walks right by my side. In addition to the collar, leash, and walks, Billie is also 100% crate-trained. She knows her commands, such as sit, down, and place, thanks to Jenn and Beachwood K9 training. Having a well-trained dog is a game-changer!

I recommend anyone and everyone to invest in Beachwood K9 dog training so they can ENJOY dog ownership anywhere they go and take away any stress it may bring them. I am incredibly pleased with Billie's behavior since she returned from her board and train.
