You think you are training your dog the right way until you meet the Trainer.
We have a Mini Australian Shepherd named Enzo, My Son and Husband tried to train him themselves. Enzo was 4 months at this time, very curious and a wild child. He didn't know how to behave when we had guest over, he would jump all over them and even if the guest have been there a while, Enzo would jump on sofa with excitement and pee on our guests. I didn't want people to be afraid of my puppy, and didn't know how to fix his habits, so I did some research and came across Sit Happens. We worked with Frank, the whole team is very respectful and helpful. Frank mapped out a plan with us, he is very flexible with schedule. He has so many different ideas that we didn't even think about, even watching Tik Tok videos didn't help us, because each dog is different. Frank was able to assess Enzo and then train us how to train our Enzo, It took time and ALOT of patience. Today Enzo is 8months old and we get so many compliments. He is well behaved when we have guest over, he knows how to play with young children, we are able to have him visit other family members homes, he plays well with other dogs. We are so Thankful to Frank for coming into our home and helping us.

Frank has been a huge help with training my puppy MuMu. The first day they met I could tell that they had a strong connection. With Franks help, I’ve been able to see my dog become more confident in himself and not relying on my other dog to guide him. I’ve also become more confident in my ability to train my dogs as well. I highly recommend Sit Happens because they truly do have your dog’s best interests in mind.

Frank came out and met with us and he was great. We signed up and Keith was our trainer. I say “our” because the training wasn’t just about our dog it was honestly more for me. Keith was firm, patient and kind as he taught me to lead my dog, not let my dog lead me. I highly recommend Sit Happens if you want to train your dog. And you!! 🙂

Aundria has been a great trainer for both my dog Remi and myself! It had been a long time since I had a pup and I have never had this breed either. I have learned so much from her and I LOVE that I am being taught how to properly train Remi by her. He has become not just a trained dog but a WELL trained dog. Biggest lesson: putting the work is priceless!! He is so in tune with me and I am so grateful I found Sit Happens dog training!

I highly recommend! My 8 year old Dane/bully mix had been having reactivity issues and I was worried he was too old to brake his bad habits, I took a chance with Sit Happens and now five lessons later I’ve learned so much about how to handle and prevent his outbursts towards other dogs. He also now walks so much better on leash and has even learned new commands such as ‘place’ which has been so helpful especially when he we have guests over. Frank was absolutely amazing when interacting with my dog who is wary around new people, even when working with my dog Frank made sure to give him lots of attention so he would be excited about training. Once again I HIGHLY recommend Sit Happens training.

Sept. 2023: Frank (from Sit Happens) has helped us train our dog and in 4 weeks we've seen an enormous change take place. We rescued Brandy (a shepherd mix) from a shelter and knew very little about her. We found out she was very reactive to other dogs making it next to impossible to take her for walks. She also jumped up on us and mouthed our hands and arms to the point my wife had to wear long sleeved shirts during the summer to prevent bruises and scratches! After only 4 weeks Brandy is like a different dog. She rarely jumps and mouths us and she is beginning to relax when meeting other dogs (and cats and people). It was not that difficult to spend 15 minutes 3 times a day training and I would recommend Frank 100% and feel that it was well worth the price.

Update Nov. 2023: We lost confidence in Frank and his ability to train and correct Brandy's leash reactivity. Frank had offered to give us a free training session on how to use a prong collar but told us we may just need to avoid other dogs if possible. We decided to take Brandy to a board and train trainer in Colfax for 3 weeks. We've had her home for about a week and I'm amazed. She can simply walk past other dogs without issue. I still think Frank is worth the money for training dogs all the basic commands and getting the foundation down. He was great and offered to go above and beyond his initial commitment which says a lot about his business ethics. But we are happy we took Brandy to someone who specialized in behavioral issues to resolve her issue of leash reactivity.

Keith was our trainer. He was knowledgeable consistent and a great guy, Our puppy Cruz has made a total transformation. We had no idea how to train our puppy and Keith was amazing at showing us what to do. It was really us who needed to be trained lol. Now Cruz is a wonderful little guy, and getting better all the time. If you have a need for a trained dog I highly recommend Sit Happens. Well worth the investment.

Keith was an excellent trainer helping me and my girlfriend to train our reactive dog Bolt we adopted as a puppy from the shelter. We’ve seen him become a totally different dog and we are so proud and grateful for all of his help and he stayed in touch with us throughout the whole thing. Very good communication and would point out anything he saw wrong and helped us correct it right away. We 100% recommend Sit Happens and we know Keith will give any owner and dog a great experience. Thank you so much!
