I recently had the pleasure of enrolling my furry friend in a dog training program that left me utterly impressed and thoroughly satisfied. From start to finish, the experience was nothing short of excellent, and the results exceeded my expectations in every way.

Kathy and her brother, Kelvin are amazing! Upon entering the training facility, I was greeted by a team of passionate and knowledgeable trainers who displayed a genuine love for dogs. Their professionalism and dedication were evident right from the beginning, and it instantly put me at ease. They took the time to understand my dog's individual personality, behavioral challenges, and my training goals.

I worked mostly with Kathy for all my training sessions.
The training curriculum itself was exceptionally well-structured. Kathy employed a combination of positive reinforcement techniques, interactive exercises, and real-life simulations to teach my dog essential obedience commands and address specific behavior issues. What stood out to me was her ability to tailor the training to my dog's unique needs, ensuring a personalized approach that maximized his learning potential.

The progress I witnessed in my dog was nothing short of astounding. Week after week, I saw remarkable improvements in his behavior, responsiveness to commands, and overall demeanor. Kathy was patient and encouraging, consistently offering constructive feedback and guidance to both me and my dog.

I came to Dog Training for Owners on recommendation from a friend who used them for her own dog (and has a spectacularly trained dog).

After my 6 sessions, not only do people comment on the noticeable difference in behavior in my dog now as compared to before, *I* feel infinitely more confident in working with my dog. Is she a perfect dog? No, but that's because I haven't put in the work to make her so. After working with Kelvin, though, I have the tools and confidence to train my dog into whatever type of dog I want.

We just finished our 6 lesson session for our 2 yr old goldie with Kathy and we are so grateful for her help. She was very educational about what we were learning and the tools she recommended. Don't judge before you learn about the why and how!!! 10/10 would recommend her! Also, as many of the other reviews have said, you get what you put into it. The work is absolutely worth it!

I have worked with Calvin and Kathy a couple times now and they have become two of my favorite dog trainers! They are very good at what they do and their love of the work and the dogs is always evident. While making classes fun, they also manage to keep everything very professional. I would highly recommend them if you have any dog training needs, or even any questions about your dog or training in general.

I completed the training last year, so my review is long overdue. Before I started I read the current reviews, for the first time, and it seems to me some people don’t know what they’re looking for. I chose to have my dog training here because I wanted to be a part of it, and it is called ‘dog training for owners’… That’s a big surprise for those looking to have the work done by someone else. This is a class for You to learn how to train Your dog, which is how it should be. My dog was a pup; I couldn’t imagine leaving her during the bonding period with someone else, or to assume she would listen to me after I brought her home. I think of kids saying ‘you’re not my mom’ when someone other than the mom tries to correct them. One of the places I looked into was where you drop your dog off for a couple weeks and pick it up ‘trained’ for $2500. The money didn’t bother me as much as leaving my puppy with others to train. What would they do if she didn’t get it right, would they discipline her? That’s when I knew I had to be there. Kelvin was my teacher, and I saw results the first day because I wanted to learn what to do. This was a professional environment, not one where you go to make friends or chit chat. Now the bad news. I did not pay enough attention to one area and am feeling it today. I do not have children nor does my family. I was instructed to visit places where children were so my pup could experience them. My pup just turned a year old last month and gets afraid around kids and growls when they are running around. I hope it’s not too late to start. My next dog won’t have to go for professional training, unless I forget what to do. It’s all on you; you get out of it what you put in.

Calvin and Kathy are both phenomenal and very competant trainers. I have a dog with certain stubborn tendencies, which they've helped me to mitigate or make more manageable. I can not recommend anyone more highly, if your looking for good trainers who are knowledgeable and patient make sure to check them out!!!
