Amy has been grooming Max since I started taking him to Animal Hospital of Soquel. We are more than happy to still be going to her at her new Scotts Valley Pet Salon. It is so cute, welcoming, and clean! I am a very protective dog mom, and I fully trust Amy with my Maxy. She's so great with him!

So happy to have a professional and reasonably priced groomer in town.
I contacted Amy at SV Pet Salon after driving by her newly opened shop. Scheduled the appointment with zero knowledge or background of her skills. So happy I did. Price was comparable to a drive down to Santa Cruz but within walking distance from home and without the crazy car ride. She was great with our old grumpy girl as well as our skittish. neurotic puppy. Not sure how she did it (and I don't think I want to see behind that curtain) but when they were picked up, I was thoroughly impressed. My girls were happy, and clean -- oh so clean!! Amy's work lasted 3 times longer than any other groomers. (What's in your magic products, Amy?) Amy is easy to work with, Quick to schedule, Reasonably priced, and Talented at what she does.

Amy has been taking care of our senior Italian Greyhound and Peekapoo for 3+ years at Animal Hospital of Soquel. Now she has her own place. So excited to be able to stay with her as our groomer. She is an excellent groomer, compassionate, and a really nice person. We highly recommend her and her business. 100 stars!

We got fired today. Our dog barks when stressed. The 6-8 other dogs in there were barking too, but apparently our dog was the culprit. Not going to argue it. Her salon shares a wall with a neighbor that apparently calls her landlord when they hear pets being pets. Not ideal, but know this: Amy does amazingly good grooms. Yes, she has point-blank turned down all of our personal referrals over the last three months ("not taking new clients", "not taking 'poos - too much effort to groom"). So, *if* she'll take your pet AND your pet doesn't make noise, you'll get a 5-star groom and a kind, reliable groomer. $70 full groom for a 16# pup - a good deal.

Today I brought my 7 month old shih tzu puppy to Amy and Scott's Valley Pet Salon. He is quite squirmy and difficult to manage! Amy did an incredible job with him and he came back looking great and happy!! Thank you Amy!
