Our sweet and sassy coonhound has come a LONG WAY since meeting his BFF, Jackson!

We are so relieved ? at the transformation in just 6 weeks! Bairn now knows commands that make all of our lives easier, like Place, Heel, he actually comes when you call him, and he’s a total pro at sitting and laying down now.

We’re headed to the coast this week and are feeling way more confident to have him off-leash on the e-collar so we can all enjoy some freedom on vacation and before our first child joins our little family!

We’re really excited we can communicate more effectively with Bairn now, and have a better sense of control with him as we prepare to welcome a new baby into our home… we’ll really need the peace of mind this brings.

We cannot recommend Jackson enough! He’s organized, professional, but flexible. Kind, caring and generous. He’s really an expert at what he does and we felt well taken care of through the entire process. (And like we have a resource for Bairn’s entire life to support us through the challenges of having a hunting dog. ?)

Jackson has been an AMAZING asset to our family! We got our puppy at 4 months old and she needed a bit of training. She also needed an outlet for her puppy energy since she is a bigger breed that need exercise. After her 6 week training course she was a different dog! We decided to keep her enrolled in adventure dog days just so she could still spend time with Jackson and her dog friends. Every morning she sits at the window waiting to see if Jackson is coming! Jackson is so attentive, responsible and reliable. I would recommend him to anyone!!

Jackson is the real deal. My dog loves him, he is responsible and good at communicating. My 2 year old dog went thru his 6 weeks course and is like a whole new dog now, I'm truly amazed at what he was able to accomplish. I can hike/mtb with my dog off leash and feel very comfortable doing so thanks to Jackson's training. And the free monthly follow up appointments is a pretty sweet deal, however I don't think we are even going to need them for very long!

I cannot recommend Jackson enough as a dog trainer. Our 12-month-old Mini Australian Shepherd, Indi, was incredibly undisciplined, alpha-minded, and difficult to control. She was strong-willed and nearly impossible to manage, making it challenging to enjoy our time with her.

We decided to work with Jackson, and it was the best decision we could have made. Over the course of just 4 weeks, Jackson worked wonders with Indi. The transformation has been nothing short of miraculous.

Indi has gone from being a boisterous, unruly outdoor dog to a well-mannered, sweet indoor companion. She is now the easiest dog to walk and manage, a far cry from her former self. What's even more impressive is how well she now gets along with our 6-pound Shih Tzu, Ella.

Jackson and his unique training program are life-savers! We were on a slippery slope to likely failure with our super-smart, energetic puppy and we needed way more training support than we anticipated. Frustrated by limited/full puppy classes, non-responsive local trainers or trainers working only remotely, and with little opportunity for socialization with other dogs, by month 4 we were losing ground fast and knew an intensive intervention was needed to get our girl on track. This is exactly what Jackson provided.

Jackson answers the phone, responds to texts, replies to emails, listens well and gives excellent direction and feedback in person. His overall communication conscientiousness sets him well above the competition. His training model of 3 - 6 week intensive full-day sessions, in natural settings, with multiple dogs participating, is distinctive and provides many benefits - controlled socialization, extensive physical & mental exercise, consistent and rapid reinforcement of lessons, relief for overwhelmed owners, and great results in terms of well-adjusted, obedient pets.

Perhaps the most unique, and possibly most valuable, feature of Jackson's business model, is the inclusion of support to owners in the form of ongoing consultations/lessons at no extra charge for the life of the dog! That's an impressive commitment to success AND sustainability that again puts RunningWild Dogs & Co far ahead of the pack. We the owners need training more than our (now teenage) pup, in order to correctly reinforce what Jackson has expertly taught her. Because of that benefit, we're getting the training WE need, as well as additional creative problem-solving focused on our specific home environment that our pup needs to adapt to.

Jackson is an exceptional dog trainer. He is knowledgable, patient, responsive, and demonstrates a genuine care for our dog. The work he has done with our dog-- funnily also named Jackson- has dramatically improved the quality of his life, and ours.

Our dog is a 2 year old hound mix rescue who is highly independent. Our biggest struggle with him was recall, as well as him being over stimulated when encountering other dogs. We are active and these issues made it extremely stressful to have Jackson out on trails or even just on walks in the neighborhood.

With the training tools Jackson provided to our dog, as well as to us, Jackson (the dog) is now calm and controlled when he meets new dogs, and not only is he great on his walks we can have him off leash on trails to sniff and explore and run without the stress of him not responding when we call him back. Because of his breed mix he needed this freedom. Now he gets all of the mental and physical stimulation he needs and is an all around better behaved dog because of that.

One thing I want to call out here in case it helps others. Jackson does use e collars as part of his conditioning process. This is something that made me uncomfortable at first and I had to come around to. Now that I am educated, I would tell anyone who is hesitant to not let this approach deter you. Our dog is HAPPY when we take the collar out because he knows he is about to have some off leash trail time. We seldom have to use it, the main reason we put it on him is as insurance in case he sees a squirrel and takes off on us. The technology is advanced and harmless, and Jackson is extremely thoughtful and responsible in how he uses the collars to condition. Our dog would never be able to have the quality of life he has now without this tool and I am grateful for it.

We cannot say enough about how much this training has impacted our sweet, crazy doggo and us. Thank you Jackson!

I can’t say enough good things about Jackson and Running Wild Dog Training. Luke was an adopted pitbull mix and was definitely abused before we got him. He was very timid around others and would shut down when being trained. He also had separation anxiety, pulled on his leash, jumped on everyone, and was a little aggressive.

Jackson was able to train Luke over 6 weeks and was very gentle with him. Luke is a completely different dog now and is a real joy to be around.

I recommend anyone to get their dog trained especially if you’re a professional like we are with limited time. Jackson is professional, kind, punctual, and very committed to his profession. 10 out of 10 experience!
