Jesus is amazing!! I was referred to him 2 years ago by my friend and I took my previous dog to train with him and my dog LOVED him! I recently rescued my new pup, June, from a shelter and she basically didnt know anything as far as commands, house manners, leash manners, and was very scared of other dogs. I started off with a private session with Jesus and he highly suggested boot camp for her. We finally decided to go through with boot camp last week and June has gotten SOOO much better. Just with the videos Jesus showed me and the follow up training sessions we had I know she’s so much better now. She’s very engaged with me while we’re training and before she was not, she was always in her own little world and it was hard for me to recall. She’s not scared of dogs at all and got to play with plenty of them during her boot camp with Jesus. June has also been doing so good indoors so far! She would always jump on our couch or bed before and now she is learning to go to her crate to lay on her bed instead. I really like that Jesus style of training is not aggressive at all but rather fun for the dogs! I also like that he sends pictures and videos to keep you updated on how your dog is doing. I refer anyone who asks about training to him and tell them they won’t regret it!!

Jesus was amazing with our dog Stella during the 2 week boot camp training program. Stella had reactivity issues with other dogs and behavior problems. She is almost 7 years old and starting training this late in her life was discouraging but Jesus was so reassuring in our first session and gave us so much hope and confidence that he could help us. Not only was he training Stella but also teaching us more about how to read her and better understand her needs. He gave us the tools and knowledge we need to improve our life with our dog. Jesus was very honest and realistic about what our expectations should be with our highly intense and head strong dog, which we greatly appreciated and understood.

The training program is very detailed, thorough and simple to understand. We received daily updates, pictures and videos. Jesus was extremely personable and so good and gentle with Stella, she was so happy to be there. We are very grateful for finding Jesus and him taking on such a crazy dog like Stella. Our only regret was not doing this sooner. 100 percent best investment we have made for our family.

If you have been looking for someone to help you train and become one with your dog, look no further!! Seriously! Jesus is such a passionate individual who takes the time to learn every dog's personality and takes their training to another level. Words cannot describe how incredibly grateful I am to have found him. if you are serious about training your doggo and also making sure you are amped about learning yourself, just go see Jesus. You will not regret it.

I took my now 10 month old Husky Shepherd dog Echo, a Sassy headstrong dog who was over socialized and knew no boundaries (I mean look at her face). After a week of puppy boot camp she went back for boarding and within that short period of time, she is a completely new dog. She has leash manners, I learned how to better control her energy and excitement, and is overall learning about how to safely navigate this big world all while having fun!

HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend Jesus. Worth every penny.

So thankful that we found Jesus!
My little puggle Alfie was very leash reactive and overstimulated, he was impossible to take anywhere due to his reactivity, and he was so nervous around bigger dogs that he would bark and lunge at them (he is 10lbs so every dog is better than him.) It made walks incredibly stressful and often would leave me feeling frustrated and embarrassed no matter what “training methods” i would try.

We met with Jesus for our intro session and Alfie immediately took to him! Our initial session gave me so much hope that we would actually be able to work through the reactivity!! Jesus gave us homework and was very honest about what we were doing right and wrong, but in a kind way where I didn’t feel bad for the methods I had previously tried and that didn’t work. Alfie and I left excited and ready to put in the work!

Fast forward to Alfie’s 7 day boot camp.. The first day Jesus had Alfie and his boot camp buddy Lucas side by side training with the other. Alfie began to learn that even if he didn’t like the other dog, he still had to respect their boundaries. To see Alfie coexisting with bigger dogs was amazing to see-truly I never thought it possible.
Throughout the week, Jesus consistently sent photos, videos, and updates of Alfie’s progress and even just hanging out playing with the other dogs. Alfie was able to hang out with Wilson and the other big dogs and was loving it! It was awesome to see how comfortable he was with them.

It’s now been a week since we brought Alfie home and it’s like he is a changed dog (for the better!!) His separation anxiety is gone, his reactivity has drastically improved (pretty much gone), and he is understanding the boundaries we set in place for him in and out of the house. Overall, he came back to us a well balanced dog and a happier boy!
Jesus spent time during our last session walking us through his progress, what Alfie worked on and what he needs to be set up for success in the long term. Even after bringing Alfie home he always responds to my questions and is so helpful and kind.

I cannot recommend Jesus and Pawsitive Healing LA ENOUGH!! There are so many trainers out there it can be overwhelming but Jesus is the REAL deal. He cares about our pets and clearly takes such good care of them during their boot camps.
We are even planning on sending our other dog to Jesus for boot camp to brush up on his training and skills!

Our dog, Lucas, had issues with reactivity towards dogs, people, and even our family friends when they came over to visit. We took him on daily walks and showed him lots of love, so we couldn’t understand why he was still so reactive towards others. We decided to get a new puppy in hopes of socializing Lucas and giving him a friend, but instead, he was extremely aggressive toward the puppy, and we were terrified that he was going to hurt her. That’s when we decided to reach out to a trainer.

We first went with a trainer that we found online and who was highly recommended. After 45 minutes of this trainer being with Lucas, he said Lucas was too aggressive and that there was nothing he could do to help us and returned our money. I was devastated. The trainer made me feel like there was something wrong with Lucas and that he was "beyond repair.”

We decided to look for another trainer, and that is when we came across Pawsitive Healing LA. The trainer, Jesus, was literally everything we could have hoped for.

Jesus explained our dog's needs to us. He knew instantly that Lucas had a huge ego and was incredibly dominant, but regardless was excited to work with him! We did a two-week boarding boot camp, and it COMPLETELY transformed Lucas. Within the second day of boot camp, Lucas had already made a friend, and I saw him interacting and engaging with other dogs in a way I could only have wished for before. I literally had tears in my eyes watching the videos. Jesus kept us updated and sent almost daily videos of Lucas, which was really important to me since it was his first time being away from us. Jesus was thorough with the things we had to change and things we had to implement. When Lucas came back home, he showed ZERO hostility towards the puppy he wanted to hurt just a few weeks prior. Even after the boot camp, Jesus is very receptive to any questions we have about Lucas or about what we are doing with Lucas.

Pawsitive Healing LA with Trainer Jesus has truly been a lifesaver for us and Lucas (and our puppy!). I highly recommend him to anyone struggling with a reactive dog.

Jesus is the biggest blessing! I truly don’t know what I would do without him. About a year ago I brought Mia, my two year old golden retriever for the two week boot camp. I had a problem with her pulling me on walks and literally eating everything in sight. After the two weeks she was a completely different dog. She came back confident, happy and wanting to train. She is obsessed with Jesus (I think she might love him more than me lol). Now I am able to take her with me everywhere. She does great on walks and doesn’t try to eat everything she sees. I have also done boarding for the past month, which was the best experience. I got multiple updates a day with pictures. Mia had the best time! I seriously wouldn’t trust anyone else with her. Best experience I have ever had!

I just brought home my 1 year old rescue, River, from a week of bootcamp with Jesus and I could not be happier!!! I rescued her less than two months ago, and I started noticing some behavioral concerns that I knew would get worse if I let them go.

After the first intro session with Jesus, he had already helped me understand where her various behaviors and tendencies were coming from, and I went home with some actionable tips that already made a big difference.

Throughout her bootcamp week, he sent so many videos, photos, and updates on her progress and the fun she’s having each day, so I always had the peace of mind that she’s happy and in the best care. He even sent me links to specific tools that he’s using with her so I can continue at home.

She started her bootcamp unsocialized and shy around other dogs, no boundaries, especially when it came to her prey drive (Jesus helped me understand that she even is prey driven!). She came back a much more confident dog with a strong ‘off’ and recall, much more engaged in working and training, comfortable around other dogs and how to interact with them, and has made HUGE strides in her impulse control around squirrels that blew me away. He helped me understand the kind of structure she needs, and how to set up a routine with her to ensure I’m always able to give her that.

Jesus is so warm, has a great senes of humor, and such a joy to work with. You can tell immediately that he does this because he loves it, and has invested so much time learning how to truly understand dogs.

This was one of the best financial investments I’ve made. I can’t wait for the many fun years ahead with my girl!

Don’t let this sweet face fool you — this girl has a wild side and endless energy! I adopted her at 3 months and knew I needed help training her. Jesus has been amazing to work with and Evie loves him! She is mastering all the basic commands, leash training and focusing, and I am so glad I signed her up for this program. Highly recommend!
