1. Before training my dog was awful. Mali would constantly bite us, pull on the leash, chew up our belongings, tore up our couch, and jump up on our other dog and bite him.

2. Mali has made significant improvements in a very short amount of time. I saw the biggest improvements after the 2nd and 3rd lessons. Mali responds to commands I’d never thought she’d be able to follow. Mali’s smart just defiant, Lou helped with her defiance.

3. I would highly recommend Mango Dog Training. Lou was easy to work with, personable, and friendly.

Before training, we were really struggling to live harmoniously with our two senior dogs. One of our pups, Benji, is a senior rescue we adopted on 2022. He has been a master escape artist since we brought him home, with numerous accounts of scary escapes. Since we reached out to Lou, he has improved tremendously. We are no longer as anxious about escapes, he listens better, has less reactivity towards other dogs and foreign situations. This has really helped in creating trust that we have been lacking. And Lou’s support didn’t stop there! Other dog, Jackson is older and has been stuck in his ways for sometime. Since training has started, he is obeying commands, not barking as incessantly, and is less anxious! I would highly recommend Mango Dogs, especially Lou! The entire process was very easy, from consultation to graduation! Working with Lou and Mango Dogs has given us a lot of hope for a more peaceful home life. Not only are our dogs better behaved and more relaxed, we are feeling more confident that we are in charge, and we have to skills and tactics to confront situations as they may arise. I could not recommend this place any higher. I wish I could give more stars because I would. We’ve been working with the dog trainer Zach at Mango Dogs for a few weeks now. Zach is phenomenal and the training they teach at Mango Dogs is amazing! We have a highly reactive Pit Bull that was hard to manage even just going out on walks around the neighborhood. We also have a 6 month old cattle dog/American bully mix that was starting to learn our others dogs reactive habits. Since starting to train with Zach/Mango Dogs it has seriously turned our world around. We just finished Lesson 4 today and graduated to group classes. When Zach told us we would be walking off leash in a fairly populated park with my reactive dog in a month I thought he was joking. I thought for sure it was going to take so long to get to that point. Well here we are!! I could not be happier with the training! If you too also struggle with a reactive dog, trust me this place is so worth it!

We had an amazing experience training our 1 yo puppy with Mango Dogs. We had huge problems with a reactive boy that could not peacefully sit in public. Other dogs were a huge trigger that would send him barking and pulling his leash like crazy. And we had almost no control in our own home, where he would try to eat and destroy anything.

Our dog “graduated” two weeks ago, and he’s already enjoying restaurants/breweries/parks with us peacefully. Mango Dogs got our pup to a level where he’s now confident and comfortable in new situations and around other dogs. We saw amazing improvement within weeks. We can also safely leave things, even food, on our table and our dog will simply leave things alone.

I love that Mango Dogs starts small with manageable goals, and in-home sessions. Super convenient and helped our dog acclimate to his new duties. By the end, our pup loved his trainer, Zach. We couldn’t ask for a more patient and knowledgeable trainer.

This service was life changing for my wife and I! And I love that they gave us the tools to continue to teach him more as he gets older.

I would definitely recommend Lou with Mango Dogs! He has always been super supportive with improving Milos behavior out in public as well as his in home behavior. Milo would lunge/bark at any dog he saw out in public and now we can take him on a walk without worrying about him engaging with other dogs negatively. He has also learned manners when being indoors. I definitely have seen a positive change in Milos behavior, we are really happy ! Thank you Lou !

Hugo was an extremely reactive dog. We had issues correcting behaviors at a young age which had only gotten worse. He began training at 16 months and it has definitely developed his mental maturity. Hugo is a completely different dog today and life is great with him. Huge shout out to our phenomenal trainers Lou and Stoney! Without them we would not be the confident dog owners today. We are a family of four dogs and have seen a 100% change in our along of our dogs everyday behavior. We had a house of barking dogs and it has turned into a quiet place. no longer do they bark at neighbors in the other side of the fence. They aggressive behavior of one dog has almost completely stopped after six weeks of training! Zach was kind and very helpful! I would recommend him and Mango to anyone who needs some help with their dog!
