If you are looking for a dog trainer in the Bay Area, you must see Matt! We have been working with Matt since our golden retriever puppy Woody was about 5 months old and we cannot appreciate Matt enough for all the amazing work he has done for us. Woody is completing his board and train and we are so happy to see him being a confident and well-trained dog!

When we got Woody, we were trying to train him by ourselves with training videos that you can find on YouTube; however we soon realized that it is very difficult and is not very effective as every dog is different. Also, there are too many different techniques on the same command and we got very confused and didn’t know which techniques to follow. However, after we started working with Matt, everything started progressing smoothly. What we like about Matt the most is his simple yet powerful and clear communication technique for our dog. It was not only helpful for Woody but it also made us easier to follow and train with. Also, Matt is very serious about what he is doing and is always willing to help and give advice through texts/calls and even with home visits if needed. There were many times we struggled in training but he helped us solve the issues like magic!

Raising a dog is not easy but we were able to come this far because Matt was always there not only as Woody’s trainer but as our trainer to be a good and responsible dog owner. Most importantly, we have been able to enjoy training Woody since we met Matt because he also trained us how to train Woody properly. To be honest, we are not sure how Woody was turning out to be without Matt’s guidance. Woody is now becoming the greatest dog we could ask for!

I cannot speak highly enough of Matt, the K9 trainer who helped my puppy Rogers become the confident and happy dog he is today. Matt's expertise and dedication to his craft were evident from the very beginning of our sessions. He took the time to get to know Rogers and understand his unique needs, and it's clear that he truly cares about the well-being of every dog he works with.

Thanks to Matt's guidance, Rogers no longer chokes himself while walking on a leash. He is confident and happy when out for walks, and it's all thanks to Matt's effective training methods. Rogers has come a long way since we started working with Matt, and I am so grateful for his patience and guidance throughout the process.

Not only did Matt take care of Rogers' leash training, but he also ensured that he was getting all the proper nutrition and dietary requirements he needed. I always felt confident that Rogers was in good hands with Matt, and he went above and beyond to make sure that he was happy and healthy.

What impressed me the most about Matt was his ability to train Rogers to be obedient and well-behaved. His methods were gentle and effective, and it was clear that Rogers respected and trusted him completely. As a result, Rogers became a well-behaved, obedient pup who was always eager to learn and please.

But what sets Matt apart from other trainers is his attention to detail and willingness to go above and beyond for his clients. He always gave detailed instructions on how to be a good human to my pup, even in our one-on-one sessions. It's clear that he truly cares about the well-being of his clients and their dogs.

Overall, I cannot recommend Matt highly enough. He is a true professional who is dedicated to helping every dog he works with thrive. My puppy Rogers has been so happy with Matt, and I can't imagine trusting anyone else with his care. Thank you, Matt, for everything you've done for us!

Rogers is still in board and train with him, but I couldn't wait any longer to write this review. I see so much difference in my pup already!
