Val helped us with private training for our 4yo Golden Retriever with some overly excitable behaviors and bad manners. We were on the fence if training was necessary but we are so happy we made the investment - we definitely see now the behavioral adjustments have given our dog and our family a much better quality of life together. Val provided us with the tools needed to regain control in a variety of situations, training in real life environments to help us feel more confident and ease with our dog in social settings. Val’s understanding of dog behaviors and psychology is truly amazing; she’s known as “the dog whisperer” at our house. This summer we got a new puppy and she was what seemed to be untrainable. Wouldn’t listen, had bad impulse control, loud, barking, screeching, walked somewhat OK on a leash. After hiring Val were able to walk her on the leash properly, and she seems to love it, she sits, and she stays, although we are still working on her impulse control, and her ability to stay for longer than a couple of minutes. She comes when called and has turned into be a good little pup, we struggled for sometime to get her to lie down, and Val told me to keep on with the training, and my little girl finally knows how to lay down on command she still very young And we have a lot to work on, but I have hope that she’s at least trainable.

WOW! What an incredible service! Val has been helping me walk my German Shepherd, Zoe, over the past year and a half and I couldn't be more grateful or happy with the results. Zoe always comes back happy and tired. Val takes such pride in creating the best experience for the dogs. She has taken my Zoe to the beach, and on hikes, on nightly walks, and has even helped me with dropping off and picking Zoe up from daycare or boarding. I am forever grateful for Val. Val is great! She’s been working with my dog both as a trainer and an exerciser for a year and a half. Reyka has matured from a crazy, wild puppy in a wonderful adolescent German shepherd/Malinois crossbreed and we’ve been able to keep the “Maligator” under control! Thanks again!

My two dogs were having issues getting along, it came to the point where I was getting injured trying to separate them when they fought. I had one session with Val and it was completely life changing, she gave me the tools to manage my dogs and read their body language. It’s been about 3 months now and there hasn’t been a single fight which is amazing since their fights became weekly. I recommend this trainer to everyone! So worth it!!

I worked with Val over a period of 6 weeks. I have a puppy and had no experience with dog training. She was able to help me learn to kennel train, potty train and teach me the proper way to walk him. She’s extremely knowledgeable, punctual, and professional. Additionally, Val provides you a written summary of the lesson and you can record a video(s) to review and practice between sessions. I’m super happy I found her online. I highly recommend her as she won’t waste anytime getting your dog trained. I feel so much more confident with my dog since working with her.

Frankie met Val years ago in Venice!
He loved running up to her in the mornings while she carried her surfboard to and from the beach. She was definitely his favorite!
Val took Frank on many hikes in Ventura and Santa Barbara. She’s the only dog walker I’ve ever trusted to let my dogs off leash. She’s great with big dogs, he responded to her so well. I never worried while he was in her care.
She definitely knows the spots, has a cool car set-up and backpack with plenty of water and supplies.
Sadly Frankie has passed, but I’m delighted knowing that he loved his adventures with Val, and that she really cared for him.

I really enjoyed learning from Val! She was fun, energetic, and extremely knowledgeable. Val is an excellent trainer. My puppy and I learned a lot of basic training and with one lesson, she has made huge improvements with her leash walking/pulling! Thank you again Val!
