I am so grateful to have found such a great trainer! We did the Stay & Train program and I’m so glad we did. A huge weight has been lifted off of our shoulders. It’s scary leaving your dog to go off to train, but Joe is such a family man and you can tell that he really cares for dogs. This was extremely important to us!! Our dogs are more mannered, less aggressive and they finally LISTEN!! Our dogs will for sure miss Joe, but their quality of life will be better because of him. Thank you so much!

Highly recommend! We learned about Bandana Dog Training via a strong recommendation from a friend who sent their dog through the Stay and Train program. Lisa helped schedule the training to fit with our family’s summer plans. Joe has now trained both of our dogs through his Stay and Train program and it is amazing what a difference it has made for our family. During the training, Joe sent frequent updates and photos and was clear that our pups were safe, cared for, and happy. (In fact, they are more excited to see Joe than anyone else!). The training definitely improved our dogs’ behaviors and, more importantly, our communication with our dogs. We have continued to grow with his refresher classes and are able to confidently take our pups out and about and on road trips, which was one of our main goals. I wholeheartedly recommend Bandana Dog Training.

Joe was amazing to work with! He really took the time to evaluate our dog and spent the time to explain his process and really set realistic expectations. We went ahead with the board and train and it was worth every penny. He instilled a great foundation into our dog and gave us the tools to build off of that. He kept us updated every step of the way and even took extra time to work with our dog because he felt he had just a bit more to offer. I can’t recommend bandana dog training enough!

I brought my dog Finnegan to Joe for the 21 day board and train. The entire stay was stress free for Finn (who has horrible separation anxiety) which means it was stress free for me! Finn is a very hyper and very active cockapoo. He has the funniest most bubbly personality but he was very difficult to get to focus! After only a few days with Joe I was being sent videos and pictures of huge improvements. Like sitting still for multiple second and listening for the next command. I was in shock. After the entire stay Finn came back much more manageable without having to damage his goofy personality. Now I can take him places with me and not worry about him running off or jumping on people so we can still have so much fun on our adventures, just safe fun! Joe and his family treated Finn as their own. My dog really did have so much fun! Joe and his family give off the most positive and kind energy and the dogs they train feeling so comfortable and safe really does reflect that. They checked in all the time sending me the cutest pictures and updates on my boy. Along with checking in still months after just to see how he is doing. I couldn’t recommend it enough. I would do it again in a heartbeat! It was worth the money because I got so much more out of it than I expected. Finn and I couldn’t have loved the experience more. Bandana Dog Training has provided me with the knowledge and training I needed to keep my dog happy mentally and physically. While continuing my day to day routine. Thank you very much for the program that truly has improved both mine and his quality of life!

My husband and I adopted a dog of unknown breed, unknown age, and unknown background. She is 60 pounds of love and energy!
Soon after bringing her into our lives, it was evident that she had some serious fears & insecurity. We met with Joe at his training facility & knew immediately that his guidance could be the key to helping us overcome her issues.
Lady enrolled in the Stay & Train program & has become more disciplined, confident, and obedient.
We are so thankful for Joe's patience and expertise. Lady has become the companion we were hoping for! We will continue training, because she loves to see Joe, and learning is a lifelong process.

Joe did a great job with our super reactive unruly pit mix rescue. Joe had our guy for 10 days at first to work on his reactivity and manners. It went great. About a year later we had Joe take him again for e-collar training. After these 2 visits with Joe we had a different dog.
Before training I hated taking him for walks he was all over the place and reacted to every dog walking with in eye shot. He is now such a good boy and its actually a pleasure walk, and when hiking we can walk by a dog without him wanting to attack them! Life is so much better!
I couldn't recommend him enough!

Renee has been Abby’s trainer and she has also worked with Chaps. Both of my pups have a great temperament and are always willing to learn. Renee established the training basics and reinforces them each time I take them to her to board. Renee has a great reputation and loves all dogs. I highly recommend that you allow Renee to train and board your pup.

We had our baby Henry in the room and board training with Joe. Henry came back with the same personality which we wanted but he’s a lot more disciplined. Meaning he will take our leather shoes when left out but he’s no longer eating them. He doesn’t run away from us and he now likes quiet time. He will go in our room and just lay in the corner and rest. I’m very pleased and happy with the outcome for our baby. Joe also did the ecollar training to teach him not to bark at everything he would see or hear. I’m so happy a friend had shared their experience with me as it made it easier for me to be without Henry for 21 days because we missed him so much.
