I can’t say enough great things about Farren and what she has done for our family! We got a cocker spaniel puppy as a Christmas gift for our girls, and we were severely failing on the training side of things. We put Buddy in Farren’s two week training and he came back a different dog! We can finally take him on walks that are enjoyable, sit on our couch without being attacked, and have people come in the house without him accosting them 🙂 She was wonderful in the transition back to us and worked with the whole family to have Buddy have a successful homecoming. Highly recommend Farren and her wonderful program!!!

If I could leave 10 stars for Farren I would! We came across Board N Behave on FB when we were looking for someone to train our 2 yr old poodle mix. He’s a very anxious dog, had major anxiety around other dogs and people. Our hope was to be able to take Bogey with us on our family outings without him causing a major scene and for him to be able to enjoy himself on or off leash. I did quite a bit of research and spoke to a few other dog training facilities, but as soon as I spoke to Farren I knew she was the one. I immediately knew we could trust her and that Bogey was in amazing hands. He stayed with her for 3 weeks and literally came back a different dog, in the BEST way. He still had his adorable personality of course. From start to finish Farren was professional, friendly, an amazing communicator. My advice to those reading this- make the investment in your pups, it is 100000% worth it in the long run. Farren is your gal!! I could go on but will stop here. Thanks again Farren! You’ve become a lifelong friend to the Kirksey fam! ?

We recently sent our Cane Corso puppy with Farren for obedience training. She did wonders in the two weeks she had our pup! With him being so big, it was really important to us that he learn to listen to commands, especially with our small child in the home. When our Corso returned to us, our son was no longer scared of him because instead of him barreling around the house, knocking things over, he now listened when we commanded him to sit or stay on his "place". Taking him for walks is so much more manageable now too, now that he knows the "heel" command.

We also boarded our older Jack Russel while we were out of town for a week, so we can speak to the greatness and professionalism of both aspects of Board N Behave. Farren thank you and your staff so much for everything!

I consider my self and my dog Poem so very fortunate to have been introduced to Farren. Gettin a Standard Poodle has been my dream from a very young age and I knew I needed to be committed to train her in obedience and explore the possibilities open to us in dog activities and sports.
Knowing how to do this was the catch until we met Farren, her personality, love for dogs and commitment to teach not just Poem but me as well was evident from our very first session.
Farren understands dogs and teaches you the psychology behind positive reinforcement training. She will train you and your dog based on a plan to attain training and behavior goals you have.
Mostly I trained along with my dog for many sessions and we obtained our CGC, but also took advantage of board and train while I had to travel. One week with Farren for Poem was remarkable.
We are not done, so many more trying goals and I would not turn to anyone else to help us.

Farren offers an owner interactive imprinting program that delivers excellent behavior results with your pet. When we brought our three-month-old Bernedoodle home he was housebroken practically on his own within 24 hours. He responds to all the basic commands like a champ! Honestly, Farren took out all the stress and frustration that raising a puppy on your own entails. Do yourself a favor and enroll your dog as soon as Ferren can fit them into her schedule! We will return for more advanced training as he matures.

My husband and I were lucky enough to stumble across this place. We needed a place for our 1 year old lab and are pretty over protective with all our babies (including the fur ones)
She stayed with Board n Behave for 4 days and in that time she learned more then the whole 6 months she took private lessons. Because of these amazing ladies we can actually take her for a walk without getting our arms pulled off.
My husband took her for a walk and came back saying "call them and tell them that I love them, they gave me a great dog that I always knew was deep down there"
We are so happy and couldnt possibly say enough great things about them.

A very humble place where I know my dogs will be loved, nurtured, and watched intently. The ladies are so attentive to the dogs needs and they know what to look for if any problems would occur. I have brought my dog here several times for a day care and over night visits. They are fantastic and my dog loves to go. She gets so excited when I pull up to the gate. Not a five star indoor resort, but I know my dog is well taken care of and that is what counts in my book. Great job.
