Amazing Class! This was a must have for my hunting Labrador. David was super professional and knowledgeable. He sent me a reminder the day before and was ready to go when I showed up in the AM. He walked me through what would happen in the class and what we wanted to see out of my pup. My Lab, Yeti, did what we wanted and I can say without a doubt if we run across a snake he will alert to it and go no where near it. If you live in AZ, especially if you hunt birds, go get this done. Class was quick, efficient, and affective! Best money I have spent on my best friend and well worth the cost for the ease of mind. Call David and get your dog trained through him!

I own a small doggy daycare and boarding business. Dave brought his snakes to my place and provided snake avoidance training for some of my clients' dogs. He was very professional. I especially appreciated his obvious concern for the welfare of both snakes and dogs. What a great service! Highly recommended.

There are a plenty of snake avoidance courses in metro Tucson. The best of the best even have a similar design to this program. But this course stands out due to instructor Dave Purwin's extensive professional and educational background in wildlife management. This background helps ensure that the snakes are viewed as living creatures, rather than tools or pests, and treated with exceptional care and respect.

The treatment of living training snakes varies from program to program based on the values and attitudes of the people in charge of the program, and it can be very tricky to determine how well the snakes are treated in any particular program. So if you're the type of person who wants to peacefully coexist with wild animals and/ or the type of person who strongly believes that humans are "guests" in wildlife's territory, then this program is most likely perfect for you!

I was impressed with how quickly my dogs figured out that snakes are to be avoided at all costs. I am hoping the learning sticks with them and they will never forget the smell, sound, and sight of a rattler!
