We brought our Hungarian Sheepdog to Kristina at Good Life Training for a board and train when he was about 6 months old, and the results have been nothing short of amazing. Before training, our puppy was a handful—constantly barking, ignoring commands, and chasing our cats around the house. You couldn’t get him to sit still for a second.

After Kristina's training, he’s a completely transformed dog. He listens to commands (such as being told to go to his bed or crate), stays in one place when told, and has great leash manners—walking right beside me and sitting as soon as I stop. The barking has significantly reduced, even when the doorbell rings, and the best part is that he can now peacefully coexist with our cats, even giving them a friendly nose boop without the urge to chase.

What really sets Kristina apart is that she not only trains the dog but also the owners. She made sure we knew how to maintain his training at home, which is crucial because without that knowledge, it’s easy for dogs to slip back into old habits. So many trainers claim they can 'fix' your dog in a few weeks, but Kristina is upfront about the fact that training is ongoing and requires consistent reinforcement. Her approach is honest and effective.

We are beyond grateful for the work Kristina did with our dog. Her training has made our lives so much easier and more enjoyable. We highly recommend Good Life Training to anyone looking for effective and compassionate dog training.

Good Life Dog Training has genuinely changed my life. I adopted Rory as a pup with no previous experience with puppies. I went into it thinking golden retrievers were easy enough dogs to train, but was NOT prepared for all the puppy-ness of it all. I did my best trying to train her myself, but ultimately Rory was super high energy/ mouthy and I did not have the tools to get her to a good point. Every walk was a BATTLE (she would hyper-fixate on something in the grass, go up to every dog and owner to say hi, and just sit down in the middle of the sidewalk).

Within ONE HOUR of Kristina coming in, Rory was completely successful with her training- mind you, this was after 6 months of consistent, daily training on my part with little success. Kristina was not only able to train Rory to walk well (even off leash!!), sit, down, come when asked, go to her crate, and rest- she was able to train my partner and I on how to properly maintain her training on a daily basis. Rory is now over a year and a half old, and I mean it when I say she is happier having clear expectations. My partner and I can bring her anywhere with no stress- to the beach, restaurants, breweries, around other dogs.

In the past year, she has continued to support us when we’ve had questions. I assure you- there is not a more genuinely passionate and caring dog trainer than Kristina.

I was a first-time dog owner and Kristina helped me navigate the entire experience with care. Judy, my golden retriever, and I learned how to work together and get excited about training. I genuinely feel that I have such a great bond with her because of Kristina's help and knowledge!

The Adventure Camp program opened so many doors for Judy and I to enjoy life together. I used to stress about jumping, biting, and barking, but now even going out in crowded areas is a breeze! We learned so many useful commands like 'sit', 'down', and 'with me'. The skills we learned seemed small at first, but with some effort and consistency they quickly built into tangible progress! And at the same time, Judy and I were becoming better friends than ever.

After several sessions, my puppy now comes when called and we are even working on off leash training so that we can hike together!
