Just moved to Anchorage and needed to find a better dog food than Hills science diet. Just too many diarrhea problems. Everything else is good as per vet. My dog has a very sensitive stomach. The people here were so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. They have really quality stuff. I was able to pick out a new food and I couldn’t be happier with it….and she loves it!

Good store, shop local. The store has a great selection and good prices. The kids love seeing the animals and it is a great learning experience. I usually let them get a little animal toy.

Excellent service. Got exactly what I needed, even free treat samples at the front desk and spun a prize wheel and got a new tag for my dog's collar. Everyone I interacted with was in a positive mood. Donated to the sea life center there today, too. Support local 🙂

Employees were friendly and I found out that some of the things I buy at petco are cheaper here so I think from now on I will be shopping at pet zoo a little more often.

Amazing experience, knowledgeable employees who are excited to share what they know so you can have a successful time at home with whatever brought you there. The animals were in clean comfortable housing. And the Bettas seemed SO happy. They had little bubblers for each one and they looked so healthy. Prices were affordable as well, I was able to get more than I expected. I will be coming to Anchorage specifically for Pet Zoo. A 3 hour drive is worth it for these folks. 10/10
