Dinosaur Chicken Nugget and I really love working with Ariel at BoloK9. She is smart and very helpful. I never feel like I am asking a dumb question. I was nervous starting training, and worried that I was somehow being a bad dog mom. But Ariel calmed me down and helped me meet Dino where he was at, to understand him better and how to communicate with him. I am grateful for the help and guidance I have received. Ariel has been working with us and our 1 year old fear reactive dog since March. She has been so amazing to work with. All of the lessons have been geared towards our dog.With Ariel our dogs needs always came first. Our dog is very smart but very stubborn, Ariel did not let her stubbornness keep us from progressing in training. She held us and our dog accountable and made us follow through which has done wonders in our household. Ariel has not only built our confidence handling our dog but our dogs confidence as well. Our dog is so much happier now that we have the tools to mentally work and engage her. We are so thankful for Ariel and everything she has taught us and done for our dog. She has so many resources and tools. She always keeps an open line of communication whether it’s to answer questions or even just get a second opinion on toys. We are in the process of moving out of the area and it’s the only reason our sessions with Ariel are ending which we are very sad about. We highly recommend Ariel for all of your dog training needs.

I highly recommend Bolo K9. I have a 15 month old puppy that had high anxiety and unacceptable behaviors that I did not have the skills to address. I was desperate for help to the point of considering that I could no longer be his forever home which made me very sad. At this point I was introduced to Bolo K9. After the training, my family and friends commented that they were sure I just had a different dog. He truly is a different dog as he is now calm and well behaved both at home and in public places. I am so pleased that I can now take him anywhere I want to go. He is now happy, friendly and a true joy to spend time with. Can we give more than 5 stars? Ariel / Bolo K9 deserves it!

We went to them with 2 Great Dane pups with a combination of fear and/or aggression issues. They taught us how best to manage the problems, along with general behavioral training and leash manners.

Ariel also went above and beyond to help us navigate a couple scary issues when one pup had seizures and related issues.

The level of knowledge, real caring and commitment that Bolo K9 brings is what anyone would hope for when looking for a trainer.

I truly cannot recommend Ariel enough; her love for dogs, and the passion she has to make both humans and dogs successful is unmatched!

I don't think she misses a thing. From the moment she arrived she was watching my dogs behavior and mine at the same time. She was quick to notice how “confusing” my directions were to my pup, and immediately jumped in to provided different approaches to commands.

A little backstory, I rescued a young Great Dane, and after a few months he refused to “load up” in any vehicles. I reached out to Ariel and because I lived many hours away she worked with me via phone/video. She sent me countless tips and ideas to try. After those attempts went unsuccessful she took the trip up here and within 5 minutes of arrival my dog was loaded up in the car. It’s the tiny but significant details she sees! We did spend the rest of our time discussing other general obedience training, such as sit and stay. I can tell you months later that these two hours with her make a HUGE difference in our lives and I can’t thank her enough!

Her depth of knowledge and her quick thinking is THE reason you should trust her with training your pups.

My boys absolutely loved their time with Ariel. One of my senior chihuahuas is extremely picky about who he will spend time with and he leaps into her arms, literally. When they are boarded here they are always spoiled and don't want to leave. My Australian shepherd mix has had several classes as well with her to help with his energy and focus and he is now amazing off leash! Ariel also takes her time out to answer any questions and reassure me or help to edit my behavior to help manage my dogs' behaviors. If you are in need of training dogs of any size I highly recommend her- she understands all the breeds and works with their personalities specifically.
