My rescue (Willow) was extremely reactive and hyper before she attended JAO training. Willow came back much more calm and able to be redirected easily. Prior to attending training Willow would pull during walks, bark at other dogs and people and would not “come” when requested. Now I am able to easily redirect Willow and can walk her with ease. Jayce has provided me ongoing support long after Willow completed her training. With Jayce’s assistance I am confident as a dog mom and extremely thankful.

I sent my puppy to Jayce for a 6 week board and train to work on his confidence. My puppy is still continuing to thrive and I feel that his board and train experience really helped establish a solid foundation for him. I am attaching one of the pictures I got while he was away. Jayce was really good at communicating updates on my puppy's progress including pictures and videos. I would recommend JAO Dog Training and Boarding to anyone looking for guidance with their dog or a safe place to board them while you are away.

I reached out to JAO because I was experiencing reactivity and behavioral issues with my Belgian Malinois. At the time, she was about 7 months old and could not have ANYONE around her without her lunging and trying to nip or even taking her out to walk without trying to lunge at anyone walking by. I was nervous I wouldn’t be able to correct this behavior due to her age. However, with the help of Ataquiz, her behavior, reactiveness, and obedience improved tremendously. I can now leave her in group settings without having to worry about what she could do. As long as you keep up with the before and after “homework” given, your dog will be in great shape. Remember your dog will not be perfect so still expect to train and maintain practices even after the board and train.

My service dog Freya stayed with JAO during our trip to Disneyland since she wasn't ready for that type of environment. They took amazing care of her. Listened to all my concerns about not really wanting her out with the other dogs because she can be sensitive about certain dogs play styles. They sent me photos and updates whenever I asked her. They picked her up and dropped her back off to us. She was super excited to hang out with them. I recommend JAO 100% they take really good care of your pups when boarding them. Thank you so much for taking care of my girl! I don't leave her with anyone but I trust them with my pups any day!

Excellent results, WOW! JAO has trained both of my dogs with impressive results. Recall and impulse control are no longer an issue. My dogs are much more relaxed, confident in all settings and the whole house is calmer. Thank you very much for your kind and thoughtful program. My next pup will be trained with JAO.

We left our border collie for a 3 week board and train and he came back a completely different dog! Before, he had a hard time focusing, would pull on walks, and could never be let offleash. They completely fixed these issues (and more) and left us feeling confident with how we could continue to train him on our own. 10/10, would recommend
