So, there aren't too many places to stay in Creede. We were going to the Creede Repertory Theater and wanted something close. The Creede Hotel is close! Just steps away from the Theater. The Hotel is rather a modest affair. Access is through a stairway that opens directly onto the sidewalk. The steps are narrow and steep. There are only a few rooms at the top of the stairs. We had the Soapy Smith room. Remember, this is an older establishment. The room was nice with a queen bed, two small bed tables, a small corner table and a mini-fridge on the floor. There isn't much space in the room. We enjoyed our stay. Especially since it was so close to the Theater. We'd stay there again.

Came into town after Labor Day so not many places open for dinner. Stopped into the Creede Hotel and sat under the tent. Food was delicious and service was great. Shout out to our server Maggie who not only had food recommendations but also gave us some local tips.

“Beef short ribs” were obviously a piece of brisket that wasn’t even trimmed properly. Good sauces but otherwise this restaurant has poor execution. Not worth the money at all unless it’s the flank steak with coriander sauce.

We were charging an extra hundred dollars on our bill because there was dog hair on the computer and a few dog pieces in the floor. In my opinion, shouldn’t the bedding be washed after every guest and shouldn’t the floor be vacuumed after every guest? We left the room immaculate when we left. There was no AC and we slept horrible. I do not recommend this hotel.

Right downtown. Walk to everything we needed. Food was great and they have a lot of seats and tables. If it is busy, be patient, our stuff was hot and amazing and everyone was friendly. Room was comfortable, quiet and great.

Mediocre dining experience, especially for the price. $36 for bison bolognese, which might have been fine if it'd been served with a reasonable amount of pasta. There was half the pasta in the bowl to both fill a belly and stand up to the sauce. The response when we asked for just more noodles was incomprehensible. The lobster and prawn ravioli were rather tasteless and otherwise drowned in sauce. My husband found a hair in his salad.

Well when we first got there it was a big mess. After we visited with the chef,Kris and the owner Shelley we had the best time ever. I would recommend this place. They went above and beyond to insure our stay. Great food and service!! Thank you Shelley,Kris, Maggie and Lainey. Looking forward to seeing you next year.

The Creede Hotel catered our wedding in September, and it was a delightful experience from start to finish. The team was incredibly friendly, making the planning process a breeze.
The food was fantastic! Our guests were telling us that it was the best they've had at a wedding. The flavors were amazing, and each dish was a hit. They were also very accommodating for dietary restrictions. We had one guest who is gluten and dairy-free and they helped us figure out the perfect substitutions.
The experience at their restaurant was great as well – we had an equally impressive, delicious, and perfectly cooked meal.
We highly recommend The Creede Hotel for catering and dining. We are looking forward to enjoying more of their delicious dishes and connecting with their friendly staff in the future!
