We did the 3 private sessions with JR. She was always on time and stayed with us til we got the lessons down. JR is easy to communicate with via calls or text. She's great at educating dogs and people. Our dog Abby is a difficult dog but she encouraged us to be consistent with our trainings. We participated in her pack walks on the 3rd Sunday's of the month. Loved it. We got to practice our lessons and social with other dogs and people. We highly recommended K9Street Safety.

I am absolutely satisfied and highly impressed with JR. training your dog is hard but she is very detailed and informative which makes the process easy! We did the private session for our German shepherd puppy and I’m happy to say we are on the right track when it comes to raising him ?
I definitely recommend JR, you won’t be disappointed

We took J.R.'s street safety class because we had a dog who was nice to our family in our home, but a ball of lunging snapping anxiety if taken out around other people or dogs (or bikes, or ocean waves, or pretty much anything.) Taking him on walks was no fun because he always pulled on the leash and freaked out if another dog walked past.

I have to say, the class was NOT easy. Each class time was 2 hours of difficult, focused work with my dog, and I was often frustrated and feeling overwhelmed. J.R. is encouraging but also very direct, so if you have a thin skin you might get your feelings hurt. But wow, does she ever know dogs!

Our six week class just ended, and this afternoon I took Mitya for a walk around our neighborhood...and I enjoyed it! We walked with a loose leash, pausing regularly to practice patience training. He sits down at my heel every time I snap my fingers. We walked past dogs who scare him, with only some slight whining (NO lunging or pulling!) we practiced "stay" and "come" and even with distractions (such as men coming out of their homes to their cars) he kept his attention on me and was obedient.

Mitya has a long way to go still,but taking him out now (as opposed to six weeks ago) really is a night and day difference. Thank you, J.R. for helping our dog be happier, and better behaved!
