We own a 40+ boarding facility in Colorado Springs so our expectations are high for our horses. We have 3 have horses we travel with, our daughter depends on for her little britches season and will definitely be using State Line Stables every time we travel to Burlington. The staff and facilities are ideal, safe, clean and close to the fair grounds. We really could not have asked for anything done differently.

AMAZING PEOPLE!!! I never actually made it to their facility but I had an emergency in Vona, CO about 30 minutes west on I70 of this stable. I called them because my horse was showing initial signs of colic and I didn't think we would make it 3 hours to Hays, KS. I was worried that my horse would lay down in my trailer with my other two and cause a bigger problem so I asked if they would be willing to help me by coming and grabbing my other two horses so if my one did lay down they wouldn't be involved. They came right away, loaded up all of my horses (they had a slant trailer mine is a bumper pull stock), called the vet for me and got us there. On the vets recommendation we went ahead to our original stop so I didn't end up staying at their facility but I sure will if I find myself this way again hauling horses. I was blown away by the generosity and willingness to help someone out at the drop of a dime that up until that phone call they had never met in their life. I appreciate you. Just know what you did meant the world to me and we made it safely to Hays thanks to you.

Great little spot to lay over. Stalls were clean and bedded. Owners met us there upon arrival. Safe location!

The owners were very accommodating, as soon as we pulled in they met us showed us where to put our horses. They immediately filled the water tank and showed us where we could get some hay. Highly recommend this place for a layover with horses!
