Came here on a recommendation from friends who live near by. So glad we did. The owner is so friendly and knowledgeable and I appreciated the time he took to answer questions and give suggestions. I am a CO native but no longer live in the state but their in-store dog food caught my eye, since our beloved boy has SO many allergies. The owner took the time to explain their process and even informed me about flat-rate shipping that is available for nearly all their products. The owner of this store sold me on doing business with Pet Wants, in general. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for specialty pet products, high-quality food, or great prices on high-quality treats! This place and the owner are gems!

My pup had distemper when he was <1 month old. Unfortunately, this caused some immunodeficiencies making him extra sensitive to a lot of things. I already knew I wanted to treat any pet well, so I searched around for good quality food that would assist in his health AND not break the bank. I looked into the big natural companies and Pet Wants had been on my list of businesses to consider as a word-of-mouth recommendation from a friend. After doing the math (and the homework, to make sure my dog is getting the right nourishment) Pet Wants made total sense. Not only do I get to support a local business (to Denver), but I trust that the food is high quality for my sweet pup. It is a dried food so I don't have to be concerned about freezer or fridge space (bonus points). We started with the puppy food and moved onto the chicken & brown rice at the recommended time. Chaco LOVES the food and always starts reminding me it is dinner time around 4:40... (dinner is 5pm for my nugget). Because I also spoil this guy, I also usually choose a few treats from the treat section - not the bagged - and those have been a hit as gifts for other dog-owners as well as Chaco. At the moment I can't actually find those on the website, though, so perhaps they were discontinued. Regardless, if they show up, they are great!

This product was suggested by our dog trainer and we have never looked back. Not only it is conveniently delivered to your door, but it is high quality and fresh. Our pups love their food and we feel great knowing we are giving them a better option than store bought kibble. Very reasonably priced, great variety of flavors and combinations. Added value with additional products for your fur kids.

Also, they are always on time with deliveries, communicate VERY well and work very hard on making sure every customer is satisfied.

Pent Wants always goes above and beyond for my pup. I trust their people and their products.
We moved to a new state and I went to local pet shop to try to find a comparable food for my dog, I attempted to compare the ingredients and got lost and stressed in making sure that my I was choosing the right food for my pup....
Well, long story short, Chris is amazing. He was able to work with me on shipping the food I trust for my dog (she loves it) and set it up to come every few months so we never have to worry.

Chris - you rock, and thank you so much for everything you've done for helping Echo be the happy, crazy dog that she is!

I've had a great experience with this company! The cat food deliveries were always on time, and the staff I interacted with was always friendly, responsive to all questions that came up, and great with communication in general. My cat and I moved away from Denver for a couple years, and now that we're back he's decided to be a picky eater. However, I'm hoping to reintroduce Pet Wants food, both because I'd love to support this local company once again, and because I know that their food is healthier than what my cat currently eats.

Reliable, healthy, affordable pet food delivered straight to your door while supporting a local company. Couldn't be any happier with the service and our pup loved the food. Plus, you can order smaller quantities with the regular delivery schedule so the food doesn't get stale and if your pup's stomach can handle it, can switch flavors to keep them interested.

I LOVE Pets Wants! We have been using them for over 2 years, and I couldn't be happier. Our dog loves their food, I love not having to shop for food, and it's so easy and economical to use their delivery service.
