I can go on and on about all the things we love about MSK9 and our trainer, Dylan! Our dog, Sophie, has received boarding, training, and grooming services at MSK9 and all of them have been incredible. We adopted Sophie, a two-year-old Rottie, who had not been socialized and was highly reactive to other animals. We had a training consultation with Dylan and quickly realized he and MSK9 were a perfect fit. We truly could not have imagined a better trainer!! Dylan has gone above and beyond since our very first contact. Sophie recently completed a 4-week board and train program and her growth and learning in such a short amount of time has been amazing! We were allowed to be very involved throughout the training process and Dylan was so knowledgeable and patient every step of the way.

We know Sophie is in the best hands with MSK9 staff! She LOVES going to group classes and being boarded there. Thank you, Dylan and MSK9 for all you do and helping our sweet Soph become the best version of herself!! We look forward to continuing to learn from y’all!

I can't begin to express my gratitude for the incredible team at Mountain State K9, especially our trainer, Gator. My dog, Franklin, was struggling with reactivity, and I was at my wit's end trying to manage his behavior. After trying multiple training facilities without success, I was feeling hopeless.

From the moment we started working with Gator and the team at Mountain State K9, everything changed. Franklin has done a complete 180 in his behavior, and now we're able to focus on FUN training! We've passed through obedience school, aced the Canine Good Citizen test, mastered novice and advanced tricks, breezed through beginner agility, and are now tackling intermediate agility!

Gator not only provided invaluable guidance and training for Franklin, but also gave my partner and me the tools we needed to build a successful relationship with our furry friend.

I also want to give a HUGE shoutout to Jacob, Cole, Patrick, Kari, and Jake – everyone at Mountain State K9 has played a part in creating such a welcoming and supportive environment for us. Their dedication and expertise have truly changed our lives and they have gone from friends to family!

I can honestly say I don't know where we would be without Mountain State K9. They've given us hope, support, and the skills necessary to navigate Franklin's reactivity with confidence. My newly adopted Saint Bernard, Marshall Mathers, needed some training and manners. Mountain State K9 came highly recommended by Marshall’s veterinary team. I had heard of this facility in the past and decided to give them a try.

Marshall completed 3 weeks of their boarded train program. During these 3 weeks, they would call with updates on his progress and were always polite and kind anytime I called for an update (I’m a bit of a helicopter mom lol). I even needed to keep him there for a bit longer than expected due to some unforeseen personal events. They were so helpful and happy to accommodate; knowing he was safe and well taken care of gave me so much comfort during an otherwise difficult time.

I picked him up yesterday; before leaving, our trainer, Dylan, made sure I felt comfortable with continuing Marshall’s training at home. I’m already so amazed with his progress. We’ve even started calling him Mr. Mather’s at home since he’s now in the perfect gentleman. I’m feeling much more confident handling my big man out in the world and I can tell he’s a happier dog because of it. Thank you all so much for all of your help. It seriously means the world to me.

You really can't go wrong with Mountain State K9 Academy. I give Gator my highest recommendation for all your K9 training needs, especially if your dog is a bit more stubborn like my Bloodhound, Rufus, was!

From start to finish, my experience with Gator was exceptional. He is punctual, organized, energetic, and highly effective with K9 training methods. I especially appreciated the ease and clarity of my lessons with him and Rufus and his patience while I learned, too!

As a result of my and Rufus's training, we can now enjoy our favorite Colorado adventures stress-free and with complete confidence that my dog is safe, having fun, and being obedient.

Gator & MSK9 gave our new German Shepherd Puppy excellent training these past 3 weeks! Not only did our pup come back to us trained but they took the time with us to make sure we knew how to continue working with our dog so it sticks with her. I was very pleased with our interaction of everyone that worked there from the trainers to the general manager & everyone we met! I cannot say enough good things about this business and would recommend them to anyone 🙂

The staff at Mountain State K9 are so knowledgeable and kind. We have one dog who has finished training with another in training and we couldn’t be more pleased with the foundation they have created for our dogs. We have boarded our dog here two times. The first time she was a little bit under a year old and this time she is 15 months old. She loves it so Much! They give you really cute report cards and you know your dog has been taken care of! When we pick her up, she is always so tired and content! You can tell They really take care of your fur babies and she always has fun!
