Vanessa at Barking Bubz is an amazing dog trainer. My dogs were menaces on walks! They would bark and lunch at other dogs and had caused me to fall while trying to get them under control. Katie has been my long term go to for dog sitting. She can come to my house or take my dog to her house depending on what's best. She will get my dog out while I'm gone and make sure she gets her medicine if she has any. I think sometimes we worry about our dogs more than our kids because they can't talk. Sadie is always happy to see Katie and never comes home nervous. I truly wouldn't know what to do if she couldn't watch her.

Vanessa is an amazing trainer!

My partner and I brought home our first dog from the shelter in Nov last year, and we found out pretty quickly that he has some intense reactivity issues. We honestly weren't sure if we were equipped to keep him since we didn't have any experience training a dog with fearful/aggressive behaviors, but we decided to meet with a trainer.

Vanessa was really clear and straightforward with us from the start about what we could expect from training. She's been an amazing teacher-- we've learned a ton about what causes his reactivity, how to read his body language, how to keep him and others safe, and of course how to train better behaviors into him.

Our dog has made a TON of progress, and we were recently able to step down from weekly to monthly sessions. We can take him on hikes and walks comfortably, and he's getting more and more comfortable seeing other dogs around. He's a totally different dog than the jumpy and unpredictable lil boy we brought home from the shelter last year.

I highly recommend working with Vanessa if you're looking for a trainer.
