As a first-time customer at Stubby’s Boarding and Grooming in Colorado Springs, I wanted to share our wonderful experience. My family and I had a last-minute request for boarding due to personal reasons, and Stubby’s was the only place available. I can confidently say it turned out to be the best experience we’ve ever had!

Our dog means the world to us, and we entrusted his care to Stubby’s for three days. During that time, they played with him, ensured he was well looked after, and even trimmed his nails. He received the love and attention we hoped for, making us feel at ease while we were away.

The groomers here are amazing. I have used them a handful of times now and my pups always come out smelling amazing and they seem happy and well taken care of! One of my pups is very stubborn and big and the groomers get him done with ease! Never worry about bringing my pups here and my family brings their pups as well! Being family owned is even better!

I have gone here to get my pups groomed twice now and I will never go anywhere else! The staff is always so helpful and kind, and they pair your dog with a groomer that best fits their needs and personality. I've never left feeling disappointed in my pups groom and haircut. Our willow girl (the doodle) looked so good when she was done with her appointment. Our new addition, boomer (the Aussie/border collie), looked so handsome after his appointment too! We were nervous with him getting groomed because we rescued him a few months ago. He was matted, very sensitive with brushing, and is also an old man. But Stubbys made sure that he was in good hands during his appointment. I would recommend this place to everyone! The prices are also very affordable!

Do all dog lovers and Cat lovers this place here is outstanding very friendly very outgoing and very caring for you and your animal my pet boxer enjoy getting her nails clipped and her bath the prices are very reasonable the young lady there is also very professional yes I'm going to take a minute and say it not like the high-dollar professional places in the neighborhood who wouldn't even cut my dog's Paws nails when I offered them $100 for the front two paws only

I highly recommend the grooming & boarding at Stubby's, especially for any pups that are older and/or suffer from anxiety. I had been looking for an alternative to PetSmart for my 15 year old baby, Chesney, (a 10 lb. Cairn Terrier). The groomers at PetSmart were not able to spend extra time with Chesney, who gets anxious when groomed. That is understandable due to their busy schedule. A coworker suggested Stubby's to me and I booked overnight trial boarding and grooming sessions for both Chesney and my smaller baby, Kenny (a 9 lb Shih Tzu). From the moment that I dropped my babies off, the staff was so kind and understanding of my concerns. Even the owner was there and took notes about the pups to make sure they were comfortable. I will never take my pups anywhere else and will refer all my friends and family to them. Stubby's is truly a hidden jewel and a cute little "doggie boutique" in Colorado Springs. 🥰

We have a Scottish Terrier and the traditional Scotty cut can be challenging for a typical groomer. When I arrived, the groomer had a book out with the standard Scotty cut and was so incredibly detailed-oriented with everything from eyebrows, to beard, to skirt. I could tell she was a perfectionist by the questions she asked! Our girl looked gorgeous with her new cut. Thank you so much, Stubby’s!!
