2 parks so small dogs have their own. The only negative is the goat head burrs. I have to pull at least one out every trip.

Horribly infested with spikey goat heads. Every step is a painful goat head in my dogs feet. Don’t bring your dog here. Sorry, was a good park but somehow it got infested over the last year. Bummer, it’s a great space.

No frills (but it's not Spring weather around here yet & it was empty). Plenty of room for my dog to run & play ball and secure gating and that's all we needed.

Benches all around and great views. Some ramps and tunnels for dogs to run through. We're visiting from Texas and my Lab was feeling pent-up & this park did the job.

The front portion is covered in a low growing plant with pretty yellow flowers that produce horrible stickers. The fence is not escape proof at all. But it's OK.

Really - all that money on those fancy government buildings and new roads and this is the best you could do for a dog park. Almost impossible to even get to because there's no actual road back there. The chicken wire fencing is so short in some areas I could almost step right over it. No trash cans and which means it's covered in other dogs poop. What a pitiful excuse for a dog park.

I'm not sure what makes a dog park. This is a couple of fenced large spaces with dirt and a small grove of trees. The larger area has a single dilapidated 2×6 "seesaw" for dogs. The same plus a couple other "dog obstacles." [shrug] a place to take the leash off ...

Google showed it was closed permanently. It's a little difficult to find as there's only one small sign for it. The gates weren't locked or anything. You have to go south of the recreation building across from the Road and Bridge garage. It's all dirt with a few weeds that have stickers so beware. Lots of poop that hasn't been picked up by irresponsible owners. Very little shade.

This is a really lovely dog park. It has running water, bags and trash cans, a small dog area, and most importantly, lots of shade. It's VERY clean. The dirt is very sandy/dusty so be prepared for a dusty dog and don't wear sandals.

When we visited there was nobody there! I have to imagine that not very many people visit this park as I read its construction started in 2014 and I'm the first to review, plus the water bucket was bone dry, it was super clean (not ONE dog turd, not one! No park visitor is that vigilant), and the resident birds were super angry and surprised to be disturbed (you heard that right, puppies, there are birds to chase!) It's a little difficult to find if you're a visitor to Alamosa. It's a shame this park isn't more loved, but we had fun by ourselves with a ball. I imagine it wouldn't feel too big if there were twenty big dogs around, but it felt pretty big to us when we were alone.
