First time coming here after my Nevada City groomer of several years said they couldn't groom my dog because of her not being able to stand very well. But there is always a silver lining to everything and Donna was it! I have a King Charles Cavaleir, they are the sweetest dogs in the world! And when I went in to talk to Donna, the owner of Best in Show Dog Grooming, she had 3 other cavaliers waiting to be groomed. I explained the issue with my dog and she looked at her and said absolutely no problem I can do the job. And she did a fabulous job! I am so happy I found here and highly, highly recommend her to anyone in our small community! She is a one woman show but loves what she does! When my husband was picking up our bundle of joy she was getting ready to give the Australian Shepherd she was boarding to her other clients! So she works on all dogs and is super caring and attentive to those with disabilities ! Thank you so much Donna!

Donna Brock is amazing!!! She is so obviously caring and loving of the pups, I felt completely comfortable leaving our brand-new-to-us rescue toy poodle with her!

Our pup was matted right down to the skin and appeared to never have been groomed, so we were all concerned with how she would take to it. Donna let me know that it might have to be done in stages because she wanted to be sensitive to how our dog would react: I️ loved that!! But, Donna was so patient and wonderful that by the time we returned, our pup was completely groomed and snuggling on Donna’s lap. She even added little rhinestones on her ears and a little blanket for her to stay warm. And, took a holiday picture of our little pup, newly groomed!

I am so grateful we’ve found our forever pup AND our forever groomer at Best in Show!!!

I brought my standard in to Donna years ago and the vibe of her place was mellow and lovely, she did a wonderful job on my girl. She specializes in small dogs, but took great care of my big girl. I'll be bringing my toy poodle pup in as soon as I can call for an appointment!
