Mely's is Ike the convenience store for pets they don't have everything but they definitely have the necessary items for pets like food heat lamps and housing. Definitely a cool little shop with great customer service. The atmosphere is really good but the parking can be kinda packed from time to time. Handicap friendly and easy to navigate.

DO NOT BUY ANY COCKATIELS! I bought my bird last week Tuesday the 21st 2025. And Last night Wednesday the 29th 2025 he died in my hand. They have no policy on the cockatiels. And only offered a half off the new babies they have. Didn't offer no refund or anything. Basically saying once it’s out of their doors, it’s your problem. Please I beg you don't buy from these people. They don't even know how to handle birds. He was screaming when they grabbed him. They grabbed too hard because he was pooping black which means he was bleeding internally. These people are a huge red flag!

DO NOT PURCHASE PETS FROM THIS STORE. THEY SELL BIRDS THAT ARE IN POOR CONDITION OR HANDLE THEM SO BADLY THEY DIE.STORE DID NOT OFFER ANY REFUND IR CONDOLENCES. POOR MANAGEMENT AND POSSIBLY ANIMAL ABUSE. THE STORE DID NOT RESOLVE ANY RESOLUTION TO THEIR PETS DYING SHORTLY AFTER PURCHASING. STORE BRUSHED OFF THE ISSUE!! THIS STORE DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR ANIMALS OR THERE CUSTOMERS. POORLY HANDLED SITUATION, VERY SAD.

Unfortunately, this is the closest pet shop to me and they never have mice available. You would think they would buy in bulk or breed there but they must just buy like 10 mice a week. It’s always “call back on Tuesday”. Why don’t you guys just order enough?

Not to mention, they don’t know the difference between fuzzies and hoppers 🤦🏻. The customer service sucks. They are family owned and they all seem timid and socially awkward which gives an unwelcoming feeling. I wouldn’t suggest going here.

Great selection to choose from. However the customer service is not good at all. I didn’t even get a Thank you for my purchase today. Young man has a bad attitude. Maybe it’s time for a new job. Will look for a closer feed store. My parrot is happy that’s all that matter. Bird was not purchased at the location.

So sad. The animals are in small cages. I saw several cages for birds with no water dishes. Bird poop everywhere on the bottom like it’s never been cleaned. No uvb for their reptiles and saw a bearded dragon with a bad spine due to lack of uvb. No hides for these animals. Chickens were packed together in what looks like a square foot enclosure. Same with guinea pigs but they were overcrowded and fighting. Honestly don’t even know how it’s still open. Never been to a pet store so neglectful. Do better. Never been a bird person but seeing them so bored and neglected made me sad. Overpriced items as well. Saw reptile accessories overpriced. Whole place just screams neglect and bad ownership. Should be shut down.

Súper great service!!!! Best pet shop I’ve ever been in my life! Way better than other pets shops. Kid with curly hair was really nice and respectful he helped me out well. Would recommend going in Sundays when he works.Got my new hamster here which are super cool.
