I have been lucky enoughĀ to have Barbara's help with several dogs over the years.Ā  From dogs with a bite history who have sent people to the hospital to puppy mill dogs who are shut down because they only know fear to wild adolescent dogs who don't have any idea how to effectively communicate with people, she is my go-to trainer/behaviorist. I love the question she asks, how she approaches each dog, and how she only uses positive reinforcement to guide the training.

The quality I admire the most in Barbara's training is her ability to meet the dog where it is at.Ā  If the task being asked of a dog is too hard for the dog to successfully complete, she finds a way to scale itĀ back so the dog and the family working with dogĀ can succeed. Barbara brings an optimism backed by her vast experience to each training session and she always takes the time to evaluate the dog so she's able to create an effective training regimen. I've been lucky enough to work with Barbara in person and on Zoom and both platforms are effective.

My current dog, Molly, had a bite history before she came to me in 2022. Thanks to Barbara, Molly and I have established a solid relationship based on trust and communication around food (especially her food bowl) and we have not had any incidents. In addition to the resourceĀ guarding, Molly also lacked impulseĀ control and had no frustration tolerance at first...she wasĀ 7 years old when I got her so Molly's behaviors were deeply ingrained in her by then. It is only because of the work and learning we did with Barbara that Molly and I have been able to develop an amazing relationship. People we meet are always surprised to hear that Molly was anything but the perfect well-rounded companion by my side that they see. I trust Barbara to help me, and any dog get from point A to point B, regardless of the issue at hand.Ā Hire this woman or anyone who works at BADDogs, Inc!

Barbara has been training my dogs for over 5 years. She only uses positive training and her skills have helped me with 4 dogs over the years. I've worked with many trainers who wanted me to use force and shock collars. Barbara showed me how to get results with treats and fun. I'll be signing up for classes again when I adopt my next rescue dog. Thank you Barbara.

Passionate and extremely knowledgeable about dog behavior! šŸ’Æ force free, fear free, reward-based training. Extremely humane methods. I have learned so much from Barbara as I pursue my own training career as Iā€™ve worked with her on multiple rescue dogs. She is a leader and well respected in the industry. I trust her with everything from innocent puppies to aggression.

I recently enrolled my two Shih Tzu puppies in a training program with BADDogsInc, and it has been a fantastic experience. The program not only covers basic commands but also emphasizes important social skills like meet-and-greets, leash walking, waiting at doors, and calming behaviors such as ā€œstay,ā€ ā€œsettle,ā€ and even ā€œroll over.ā€

What I appreciate most is BADDogsIncā€™s commitment to using gentle, humane, and dog-friendly techniques. They donā€™t use choke collars or pinch collarsā€”just positive reinforcement and lots of patience. This approach made my puppies feel safe, calm, and eager to learn.

The trainers are incredibly sweet and attentive to my Shih Tzus, which has helped them thrive during each session. Their warmth and personalized guidance made a noticeable difference in my puppiesā€™ progress.

If youā€™re looking for a compassionate and effective training experience, I highly recommend BADDogsInc. The focus on humane techniques and building social skills is exactly what I wanted for my pups, and Iā€™m thrilled with the results.

Our puppy is learning so much from social interaction each week. We really appreciate the guided training & support during each session. The Q & A during class is helpful.

There is no better place to get your knowledge and attitude about dog training better focused, than by Barbara at BADDogs Inc. She helped us with our rescued Shepherd, Rey, to be better understood and for to better relate to her.
She also helped refine the best behavior out of our Black Lab, Ellie. Who is now part of a therapy dog group.
Barbara not only helped Rey and Ellie, but she also gave us new and better insight on what dogs want to do and how they want to please us. Barbara is a true ā€˜Dog Whispererā€™.
We will definitely return to BADDogs with our new Blonde Labrador, Finn.

She required us to take our dog to her recommended Vet for check up and obtain meds to reduce anxiety but Vet did not recommend any medication. Saw her twice and she stay away from our dog. Required muzzle and harness that she specified type which we purchased and followed in session with her. Our dog was laying down 10+ feet from her in both sessions while she talked and typed something in her iPad. Recommended my dog required to sleep in a dark room for 16 hours per day. Since no meds from Vet to drug our dog = no more sessions. Donā€™t waste your money and time. We were her client in 2021. Have payment receipt for proof.
