We definitely have been met with such a great experience.
They’re understanding, patient, focused on their teaching and much more. Not a single hint of hesitation in recommending them for others seeking training. We adopted a rescue and they’ve more than helped us acclimate our fur child to the medley of things presented while providing the tools to continue to develop our pup, Lea.

The group classes that we’re able to participate in are so impactful and we appreciate not only the Leave the Leash team but the community they’ve built as well. Everyone is so supportive and encouraging when Lea has a “little” burst of vocalization. Thank you guys!

The absolute best dog training around. I am so grateful we chose to use them. Within two months of training with LTL our dog was completely transformed. We did one of their jump start programs which included multiple in home private lessons to start prior to their group classes. I appreciate that their program offers a year of group classes after, that is where we have seen the biggest change in our dog.

Everyone of their trainers are truly amazing people. I appreciate their professional attitude and desire to help you and your pup be the best you can be. You can really tell how much they care about your experience and the growth of your dog.

It has been such a great experience for us and we are excited to see how much our dog grows over the next several months. My one piece of advice is LISTEN to the trainers and be consistent with what they teach you. They help you lay a really great foundation but it’s really up to you to help create the change you want to see in your pup! Our guy has turned into a certified good boy! 😉

When Bruno first started training with leave the leash Bruno struggled with dog reactivity, leash pulling, jumping, crate training, counter surfing and whining. Fast forward a year later Bruno can now sit with 20 dogs around him and be calm, walk in a heel position, sit while meting people, sleep in his crate with no whining, knows boundaries in the kitchen and doesn’t whine when in a down or sit. Thank you to leave the leash we have the dog of our dreams!

PLEASE do not use this service. It was over $1k, the training was terrible and the rely 99.9% on an e-collar (the owners words not mine) that gave my dog behavioral issues far exceeding the little bit of basic training he needed. EVEN AT A LOW LEVEL. PLEASE do your research for your dog’s sake!!! I spoke to the owner McKenzie who showed ZERO compassion for the situation, refused to give us a refund (which we would have used for behavioral training) and proceeded to tell us they could retrain him without the e-collar after I told her we don’t want to use her company and are dissatisfied with it. Soooo many issues with the trainers telling rus the wrong information, not giving us any warning signs that dogs may not be tolerating or a good fit for the collar. We trusted them as experts and our dog was traumatized. We did everything EXACTLY as they told us.

My husband was also BIT by another dog during group training. We didn’t even get an apology! Not even when I told the owner. Worse company ever. Should not be in existence.

I am THRILLED with the behavior improvements of my little dogs! Leave the Leash methods are amazingly effective and my little ones' lives and mine are so much happier and safer.

I cannot say enough good things about Leave the Leash Dog Training! We have a very excitable Golden Retriever who is nearly four years old. We had tried multiple training programs with other trainers over the last three years and were basically resigned to never being able to walk him on a loose leash, let alone have him off leash anywhere. We signed up for the two week jumpstart program and it was unbelievable how quickly Kris and Saige were able to train him to walk with a loose leash. Rocket has now graduated to the group training classes and we love them! He has come so far and just continues to amaze me with the night and day difference from where he was four months ago. He is still our crazy and lovable Golden, but I can now trust that he won't yank me off my feet when a bike or scooter goes by. I can now play fetch with him with a dropped leash at parks and trust that he won't run off if there is another dog. It is truly incredible! Thank you to all the trainers at Leave the Leash Dog Training, you guys are the best!

For us, from day one, we knew that we were seeking a superior quality training program for our champion bloodline standard poodle, so we decided to enroll our dog in Leave the Leash’s “Board and Train” program, which is essentially a comprehensive 20-day board and train program - one of their top tier programs. With this training program, our dog lived full-time with our Leave the Leash dog trainer. During this 20-30 day live-in program, our dog acquired a solid foundation of obedience and etiquette, as well as an understanding of the “command language” (sit, down, come, off, place, etc), additionally proper house-manners, walking correctly on-leash (not pulling), also good social skills, and yes ultimately off-leash discipline. That all said, the component of the program that we are most satisfied with is the transition-service that was provided after the boarding program was completed. The Leave the Leash team provided us with 3 private in-home follow-up sessions to ensure that we (my wife and I) are fully knowledgeable and comfortable maintaining the best practices of the training regiment in order for us and our dog to continue to be successful and fully satisfied with the service. Lastly, we love that the 20 day board and train program is a results-based program and that the team holds themselves accountable to those results! Overall, if you are looking for a board and train program, we highly recommend Leave the Leash!
