My husband and I got recommendations about Barak from friends.
Before we chose him, we spoke with two other very pushy people, but we didn't like their energy and felt they cared only about money and marketing. Because my dog is very spoiled and I'm obsessed with her and her feelings, it was important for me to put her with someone I could trust, ensure that he is a big dog lover like me, and meet our exact expectations (I had a bad experience before). I also would like to highlight that Barak's prices are reliable!

My husband and I went on our honeymoon for 3 weeks and wanted to take advantage of this time to put our baby in training. Barak, as you might imagine, was the perfect match for us. He sent us daily updates (photos and videos) and kept us posted on her progress. Before she got back to us, he thoroughly explained the steps and how to implement those in our home and her territory to ensure a smooth transition for all of us.

Our dog now is much easier to walk (she is a pitbull), she don't pull us anymore, listens to us, and does not freak out when she sees a dog.
Barak also offers group classes free of charge every Friday and Sunday. Since we finished the three-week program, we have visited the group class twice. Our dog is doing great, and we feel very calm about taking her to places.

I was desperate when I found Bo. I had a new husky who had been at the shelter for six months. Lots of biting, scratching, bad behavior. I was extremely overwhelmed. One of my friends had used Bo for his dog and I was impressed! I contacted Bo, and fortunately he had an opening two days later. Even after two weeks, I could not believe what a difference he had made. I continued working with Bo and my husky for another four weeks. Such a transformation! It is just a miracle how a total psychopath dog with no off switch can be turned into a calm, obedient, sweet baby! Bo's support does not end at the end of board/training. He has also been a great resource to answer whatever questions come up as my girl is transitioning to obedience with me at home. I would highly recommend his training services to anyone who wants to improve their relationship with their no so well-behaved dog. My dog is two years old, and it is an investment into our future happiness together. Almost priceless.

I brought my 10-month-old puppy to Barak's board and training program because she was extremely leash reactive and would bark at all dogs and everyone who passed by. It was a real struggle, especially when I took her to the beach at Lake Tahoe. She barked at everyone and their dogs, and I felt so uncomfortable and embarrassed. It got to the point where taking her anywhere felt like a burden, and I was sad leaving her at home every time we went out. One time, a lady was so frightened by Kona's barking that she told me my dog should wear a muzzle, which made me feel even more embarrassed.

That's when I reached out to Barak. I called a couple of other trainers, but I felt the most comfortable with Barak and knew he would be the best fit to train Kona. I'm so glad I made that decision because our whole family has seen so much improvement in my dog. She’s no longer leash reactive and is very well-behaved.

Barak didn’t just work with Kona; he also made sure I was involved in the process. We had about 3 or 4 check-ins during training, where Barak trained me on everything Kona had been learning and gave me the tools to reinforce all the training at home. He also sent pictures and video updates of Kona’s training every day or two, which always made me so happy to see her having so much fun with Barak. Thank you again, Barak!

Albert K9 offers an exceptional training program for a wide range of behaviors, from dog aggression to leash pulling. I previously struggled with taking my Belgian Shepherd out, as she lacked an "off switch" and was often reactive to other dogs. However, after working with Albert, I can now take her to outdoor bars, supermarkets, and even allow her off-leash freedom at parks. Most importantly, our trips to the park are now enjoyable for both of us. She’s become so well-behaved that she now accompanies me to work regularly. If there’s one person you can trust to train your dog, it’s Barak. Left my Ollie boy on a board & train program for 35 day (which I highly recommend the e-collar program!) and he came back a completely different dog, & in the best way! Ollie knows the clear distinction between all his command, cues, etc. and has yet to revert back to his old behaviors.

Barak is very communicative, and will send update video/photos, and also ask you to come in for check ins throughout the program. He is super passionate about his job which is what I love most, leaving me to know that my puppy was in good hands. He is always there to answer any questions post B&T which have also been extremely helpful! He definitely knows what he is doing and would highly recommend!

We contacted Barak for a one-on-one evaluation and agreed to put our dog in his board and train program. Our dog was highly anxious and reactive. He would growl at strangers and was afraid of almost everything—loud noises, cars, busy streets, being alone in a room, etc. Before choosing Barak’s training program, we tried other methods, but they were unsuccessful for our highly anxious dog.

Barak’s board/train program worked for us, and it provided the best results! He taught our dog structure, useful commands, and gave us the tools we needed to better advocate for our dog. Our dog is now obedient and confident in situations he use to run away from. We can’t thank him enough for the positive changes he made with Ollie! After completion of the program, Barak also offers FREE weekly group training classes which was a huge bonus for us to keep up with his training! Barak is fantastic! Freyja Shae, my Labrabull was 9 months old when she went to boarding school. She was leash reactive with ppl and animals and was in danger of being a bite risk. Hi,
I'm Benaiah, a disabled Navy Vet. My service dog Boots, an Aussiedoodle, use to pull on his leash during walks, would run up to almost anyone and jump up on them so he could be petted, bark at the postman. I could not take him anywhere as he would get over stimulated and would not listen to my commands unless I yelled at him. This became tiring to me and I was very much frustrated! I decided things had to change!!
I searched on Google for dog trainers near me and picked B. Albert K9 Services. I gave them a call. I spoke with Barak Albert. I explain my predicament at having a service dog who could not be of service. Barak reassured me that all dogs can be trained. He quoted me a decent price and explained all of the in & outs Boots would be going through during his training, all equipment that Boots will have when he returns home is included in the price. I dropped Boots off at their training school in Redwood City.
Barak Albert has shown himself to be very perfessional, compassionate, and understanding dog trainer. He kept in contact with me throughout Boots entire training, even sending me periodic pictures and videos of Boots progress. I recieve (4) 1on1 private lessens with Boots during his training (35 days boarded).
Boots is now back home and I am well pleased with his new behavior as I now can take him on walks, inside stores, without experiencing that pulling on the leash and jumping up. Boots have become a better service dog!!!
I highly recommend Barak Albert Dog Training Services and now I feel that all dogs should experience this service so they can be the dog they were meant to be; a well obedient happy dog.
