We have just completed the most incredible three-week board-and-train experience with Tanya and Nathalie for our 2-year-old Weimaraner, Blue. From day one, we knew in our hearts that we were in the best hands with these two amazing ladies. When it came time for the handoff, my husband and I were filled with mixed emotions—we were thrilled to have Blue back, but also a bit sad knowing how much she had enjoyed her time with Tanya and Nathalie.

Tanya and Nathalie’s communication was exceptional from start to finish. They provided us with daily updates, sharing detailed insights into Blue’s training sessions and progress. Their dedication and commitment were remarkable as they worked with Blue on several challenges, including her fear and anxiety, barking at people, pulling on the leash, and jumping on others.

What else sets Tanya and Nathalie apart is their genuine love and passion for dogs—and for Blue in particular. We boarded Blue with Tanya over the Christmas period, and she was so thoughtful with buying her gifts and toys for Blue. The communication was outstanding throughout. Tanya and Nathalie sent us countless photos, videos, and updates, which gave us complete peace of mind and reassured us that Blue was in the best hands.

In just three weeks, Blue underwent a dramatic transformation and is now the best version of herself—all thanks to Tanya and Nathalie. They also exposed Blue to a variety of situations, environments, and methods to build her confidence, as well as spending time with their own dogs. It was clear that Blue was not only learning but also having fun and feeling loved.

What truly stands out is their thoughtful, educational approach. Tanya and Nathalie took the time to thoroughly explain their training methods, both in written updates and during the handoff, ensuring my husband and I felt confident and informed about continuing Blue’s progress at home.

I cannot say enough positive things about Tanya and Nathalie. Their expertise, dedication, and genuine love for what they do are unmatched. I highly recommend working with them if you’re considering training for your dog—you won’t regret it!

My dog, Lulu, went to the two week Board and Train in June this year. Christina D. was her trainer and Lulu spent 14 days in the Paradise for animals and humans that is Christina’s home. She had the best time and learned so much. It’s so true what they say that dogs love to work and learn, it is fulfilling and educating. Among other tasks, Lulu learned to place, stay, and come as well as heel. This is exactly what I hoped would happen because although she is a small dog (<25#) she is very strong and could easily pull me down. Once I picked her up it was my responsibility to continue to work with her to cement her training and build that communication with me she had with Christina. I’m not going to lie, it was harder for me to get up to speed than it was for Lulu and I pestered Christina pretty badly for the first ten days or so after we were home again. She was kind and patient during that process. I was so delighted to see Lulu happily respond once she got calm consistent commands. She has become the dog I dreamed of and more! I highly recommend Off Leash K9 and especially Christina.

Our trainer, Christina, was amazing! Our overly excited pup was blowing us off and barking at strangers. When we picked him up, our happy puppy had the same goofy personality yet showcased some serious skill. We got daily updates and a TON of knowledge upon pick up.
I highly recommend this program and would definitely send my future pups here!

My dog Lila went through the 3 Week Board and Train program this month. She has always been a loving and affectionate dog but definitely struggled with reactivity and following commands. I am located in the Sacramento area and Channa was my trainer. She did an excellent job caring for and teaching my girl structure. She was very sweet to my dog in the various videos she kept me updated with. When picking Lila up after three weeks I saw obey her commands that she never knew before. I was very impressed by the support and clarity Channa provided throughout the whole process. When I had questions and concerns she reassured me and gave me guidance. I was looking at a few different companies but am glad I settled on Off Leash K9 Training. The cost was worth all the knowledge Lila absorbed and practice she engaged in every day. Channa was amazing! We took our 5mo old cane corso (Bosa) to her for a 3 week training & he learned so much! We wanted him to have a good foundation, build confidence and mainly listen to commands for safety/security. We got exactly that with Channa! One of his commands learned was “off” and the day after we welcomed him back home, I already had to use it for an unavoidable situation. During our morning walk while rounding a corner, Bosa and I unexpectedly encountered two loose dogs. Cane corsos are protective by nature so I was concerned as we did not know the nature of the loose dogs. Bosa did not growl or bark and had no signs of aggression thanks to immediately using the command “off” while redirecting his attention back to our walk and picking up the pace. The dogs followed us sniffing at him and while he wanted to engage, the command in combination with e-collar reinforcement allowed us to walk away from the situation without either of us being harmed. Channa taught us exactly how to command and reinforce in our 2 hour session at pick up so I felt really prepared/comfortable for home life post training. I would recommend Channa to anyone who needs help with their pups!

We had the most amazing experience with Christina at Off Leash K9! Our two dogs, Remi and Goose, had absolutely no listening skills before going to training. I was so nervous sending our dogs away for that long but Christina made the process seamless. From the time we dropped them off, to the time we picked them up she kept us updated and we got pictures everyday! Christina was so flexible working with our schedules and made sure our dogs were able to complete the training.
Goose was extremely stubborn and wouldn’t listen, or go in his kennel before going to training. He would also jump and bark when going on walks if we came across other dogs or people. He would pull and had zero respect on a leash. After training with Christina, Goose is a changed dog! He does absolutely amazing on walks and listens to every command he’s been taught. He stays in place for as long as we need him to and does great when guests come over. He does great in his kennel and rarely barks to come out once we put him in there.
Remi was our wild child. We had tried doing some training in the past but it never stuck. She is the most energetic, excited dog I have ever met and she had no idea what any commands were. I was really nervous to send Remi because I didn’t want her to lose her personality but we truly got the best of both worlds when we got her back! She is still her spunky little self but listens 100x better! Remi would jump on EVERYTHING. Whenever people came over she would go crazy and going on walks was an absolute nightmare. She would drag and pull so hard for miles straight and lose her mind when seeing other dogs. After training with Christina, Remi has done better than I ever could’ve imagined. The first and one of the most important things for us was the jumping when people came over and calming her down. She hasn’t jumped on a single person since coming back! Once we give her the “break” command, she’s definitely still a little excited to see them but she has learned how to control it. The next thing was the walks. She does great and doesn’t pull anymore! It feels amazing being able to walk my dogs without them choking themselves out and pulling us around!
We truly couldn’t be more grateful to Christina and Off Leash K9 for all the hard work that was put into our dogs and the care and attention that was put into their well being and training!!

I had Channa for my 5 month old toy poodle and she did amazing. My dog is used as a therapy dog for my dental practice and she is doing so well even so young! She went from full puppy energy with no manners to a dog that will sit by herself until she’s told to move. Super happy with her training!

I was a little hesitant about sending my fur baby to the board and train program as there was a virus going around with dogs. However, her trainer Channa, ensured me that during the training process they are very meticulous about where they go and how they handle the situation. I felt more confident with taking my puppy, leia, to go through with the program. I took Leia to the program as i wanted her to have 100% obedience and lower her reactivity to people and other dogs. Channa was able to build confidence with leia and was able to get her recall to a 100%. I didn’t expect leia’s reactivity to completely go away but when I got her back it definitely has lessen to a much smaller degree than I expected. Throughout the whole process, Channa kept me updated and sent videos and photos of Leia’s progress. I definitely appreciated her honesty as a trainer to communicate with me what is happening without any sugarcoating. Overall I appreciate the efforts that Channa put in to make Leia a much better puppy.
