In April 2023 I rescued a 2-3 yr old rottie from a shelter. About 6 months in we started training with Kyshawn at Dawg a holic. We met with Kyshawn weekly and DaH was accommodating of my work hours.

Kyshawn helped my dog and I build our bond by learning to communicate and understand each other. We LOVE going to group class on the weekends. We enjoy meeting up with the other owners and their dogs and support each other as we put our dogs to the test in real life scenarios. We work through difficult behaviors and learn how to manage and redirect our dogs in a safe group environment, when the time comes out in the world on our own, we’re ready!

I stumbled upon a Dawg-A-Holic flyer at a local dog park and decided to give it a shot. BEST DECISION EVER! Kyshawn and his team are amazing! They work around your schedule so there is never an inconvenience.

Kyshawn is the best! His program is so unique in which each session is tailored to your dog and his/her needs. He listens to your concerns and always manages to have a solution for any problem. He’s a strong believer in building a relationship with your dog first instead of forcing them to do things they are not yet comfortable with. He has taught me to be more relaxed and patient and that has really helped me become a better more confident dog mom.

There is a strong sense of community within the Dawg-A-Holic family and I think that’s what sets him apart from other programs. All sessions are held outdoors or at malls/shops so it really helps with day to day real-life scenarios. I’ve seen such great improvement with Bailey, We can’t wait for future sessions!

We happened to find Kyshawn the day after adopting our rescue, following a meltdown at the park where I had no idea what to do. Kyshawn responded promptly to my online request, and was able to meet on short notice. Together we created a training plan that worked with my schedule and got results on a quick turnaround (we were moving out-of-state in a few months' time and wanted to ensure our girl was bonded and adjusted with us to cope with that.)

Training, and forming a bond with a new animal takes time and consistency outside of training sessions, but we truly could not have handled this effectively without Kyshawn. By the end of our sessions and leading up to our move, Baja was walking through crowded areas unfazed, following commands, and looking to me for guidance. She covered more ground in our first few months together than I see our friends' dogs achieving after years of work! Furthermore, the bond with our dog is stronger due to the coaching and handling techniques Kyshawn offered us. He was willing to adapt and try new things when one approach didn't seem to be working. He truly is a well-rounded trainer and up for any situation. We are so grateful we found him!

Kyshawn is our dog trainer! Yup, proud to say it. Our family has benefited from his services tremendously.
