I wanted to give a huge shout out to Puppy Love Yorkville and groomer Michaela. They are new to my hood and I popped in on opening day, they were kind and considerate and let me get my dog Finch's nails trimmed, I also love their no cage policy. I dropped him off in July where he was treated wonderfully and he had the BEST groom he has ever had and he is almost 14 and has been groomed since he was 6 months. He had his 2nd groom last weekend and he is booked again in December, I cannot recommend them any higher, but I was only allowed 5 stars. 😆 Check them out for your 🐕 or 🐈, you will not be disappointed!

I wanted to share my appreciation for the exceptional experience I had in Puppy Love Yorkville. The team consistently demonstrates a high level of professionalism, handling every detail with care and expertise. Their clean and well-maintained environment, coupled with excellent time management, makes it clear that they prioritize both the comfort of the pets and the satisfaction of their customers. I have never had an experience like this before - catered for pets. Look forward to providing my Layla a quality of care I never imagined possible. Thank you to Sharon for the unique experience

I was very happy with the level of care given to my baby! Marshall was very happy after his groomies and I know that he received the best treatment during his spaw service. I thought $130 was a bit pricey for his level of required service, size and breed, but nevertheless, thank you very much for your customer service and great establishment!

Puppy Love is truly amazing! From the moment I walk in, the kind and attentive staff made me feel so welcome. Their care for dogs was evident in every step of the process and they truly go above and beyond with their service. The salon itself is so beautifully designed, with a calming atmosphere that makes the experience even better. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for exceptional grooming with a personal touch!

Such a creative and welcoming dog grooming shop. They always take great care with our little dog, Nana. The owner, Mahsa, always keeps me updated on our dogs progress and is such a sweet person going above and beyond whenever we come in. I wouldn't take our family pet anywhere else.

Unfortunately, I had a very negative experience at Poppy Love today. I took my cat, who had many mats and long fur, for his first grooming session. A friend recommended this place to me as she took her dog there for $80. The person attending to me explained that they would try to remove the mats and, if not possible, they would shave him, which I accepted as I didn't want my cat to get hurt. My cat lives with a dog at home, and due to their playing, he gets a lot of mats.

They did not give me a quote at the place, and their website stated that it would cost $130, which is a bit more than for dogs, but understandable. In the mid-afternoon, around 2 or 3 PM, they called me to say that he was ready. Due to a severe storm in Toronto, I couldn't leave immediately and informed them of this, asking what time they closed. They responded in a condescending manner, saying I had to come right away because the person attending, the owner, had to pick up her kids. The owner, a woman with pink hair, made me feel pressured.

I had to pay for an Uber to get there, and upon arrival, I found my cat alone in the waiting room, with the door unlocked, which seemed like a major oversight as anyone could have taken him. I waited for about 10 minutes until someone attended to me. Finally, I spoke with the owner, who said my cat behaved well but that it was very difficult to remove the mats. They didn't shave him, only removed the mats, as she was very insistent that shaving him would make him look terrible.

The owner mentioned that this time it would cost a bit more due to the extra work, but emphasized that it would be only "a little bit" more. In the end, they charged me nearly $300, almost three times the advertised price. The entire problem began when I asked for a breakdown of the cost to understand why they were charging that amount. I believe transparency is crucial in any business transaction, and when I asked for a breakdown, the owner became very rude, started humiliating me, and treated me without dignity.

I want to emphasize that I never said I wouldn't pay or had any intention of not paying. I always stated that I would pay, but I wanted to discuss the breakdown first to understand what I was being charged for. The owner, however, responded by saying it was my fault for not asking if the extra work would cost more and then stated that in Yorkville, no one asks about prices. She said that people who ask about prices have bad manners and that those who ask about prices don't have money. All of this while raising her voice and being very humiliating.

Afterwards, the owner became ruder at the reception, saying that if I didn't have money, I shouldn't be there. She commented that people in Yorkville spend $800 on their pets every day and that if I couldn't pay, I should leave. She was extremely classist and dismissive, insinuating that if I was on a budget, I shouldn't be in that place.

My partner, who was present throughout all of this, also heard the derogatory comments. The owner insisted that I pay quickly because she had to pick up her kids, and when I said we were talking, she called the police to intimidate me. To avoid further issues, my partner paid, but it was a very unpleasant experience.

I would not recommend Poppy Love to anyone who respects themselves and wants to be treated with dignity. My cat ended up injured due to the handling of his mats, something that could have been avoided if they had shaved him if necessary. The owner is rude and classist, focused only on money. There are better places in Toronto to take your pets, with more respectful and professional treatment, like "Dear My Poppy Dupont."

I hope this review serves as a lesson for the owner of the establishment. Treating customers with respect is fundamental, and without them, a business is nothing. Lots of money, but lacking empathy and humanity. Hopefully, in the future, she will show more respect and consideration.

Right on point. This boutique is new and seriously professional. I had a last minute schedule change and discovered that they provide pick up & drop off. Sharon picked up my Chanel from my condo & returned her home looking like a show dog. And to my surprise I was able to be a part of the whole experience all through instagram!!! Bravo ladies. Puppy Love is a game changer

What a wonderful place! I used to take my dog to their Woodbridge location and absolutely loved going there. I was really sad when I had to move and be far from that location, but then I found out they opened another one near us in Yorkville!

We absolutely loved our experience. The space is beautiful and roomy. I especially appreciated that they have a play area for the dogs, unlike some places where pets are kept in confined spaces. The play area has toys, and there are never too many dogs being groomed at once, which is a testament to the quality of grooming they provide and the time they spend on each dog.

We will definitely be back. I highly recommend all their locations. The owner and all the groomers are wonderful! Thanks for taking great care of my fur baby.
