Every single time I go in there five different times They never have rats… I actually got several snakes and reptiles from this place Including the one in the picture below, he was kind of sick and had a skin disease and I Got him healthy again.. It’s a hit or miss If they’re healthy and rat availability are hit or miss also…What are you supposed to do if you have an account with them and they never have any rats? they just keep your money and you don’t get a rat? , I’m never gonna go back. I’m going to scales and tails They always have large and jumbo rats for my Retic python Cash.

Great selection of healthy animals including but not limited to snakes, frogs, hermit crabs, monitors, arachnids, and much more. Some prices seemed a bit high, but for the most part it was a good experience. All the staff is super friendly and eager to help.

I purchased two Chinese Cave Geckos at the recent reptile show and walked away feeling completely taken advantage of. I asked many questions before making the purchase, but it became clear after the fact that many of the answers I was given were incorrect—likely just to close the sale.

These folks are highly suspicious, and their behavior raises serious concerns. If you’re going to them for knowledge or advice, be very careful—they seem more interested in making a quick profit than giving honest guidance.

I’ve now spent almost $1,000 trying to keep these geckos healthy and happy, and the experience has been nothing but stressful. These sellers don’t care about building relationships with their customers. They’ll gladly take 500 one-time buyers over fostering trust and loyalty with even a single repeat customer.

Avoid these people. Their practices are deceitful, and they come across as untrustworthy and unqualified. I regret trusting them with such an important decision.

DO NOT shop here. I got a female banana Ivory baby python in March, however before we could take her home we noticed she was sick. The owner noticed she was yawning and said she was fine to go home despite red flags concerning her health. It took another employee to advocate and fight for her to be taken to the vet. If they hadn’t the owner would’ve sent her home with us untreated. It turns out she had a Respiratory Infection, which seems common for this store. She was treated with Baytril shots, another red flag after doing research. Nonetheless we fell in love and brought her home. Ever since her health has declined and she gets continuous prolapses. The owner of this store does not care about the animals, just the profits. And before the owner replies saying it’s my fault she’s now sick or that we aren’t properly educated, we are very experienced, she is in amazing hands, and we have a regular vet we USED to take her too frequently and make sure she was well looked after before we had to consult a specialist. You know, after she had a pretty severe RI as a baby from their store.

I was in the store on 5/13/24 when a man and woman started to be combative with the worker in the Hawaiian shirt. I’m not sure what their issue was; but when they left the store the guy helped me, and was kind and clearly doing his best after they were very rude to him.

Sorry they were really rude! Something about a frog and a spider? Keep your head up!

Edit: they left nasty reviews, and as a satisfied customer, I urge you to ignore them. This is a great shop, run by great people. You can’t please entitled folks like them haha!!

Stone was amazing with helping my son pick out her new friend, Froggit the Pac Man frog. He answered a million questions and was ready for round two of questions when we came back the next day to make our final decision and purchase. Jen was there on day two and also helped answer feeding and enclosure questions. This shop is great, the animals are well cared for and the employees obviously treat the animals with love and respect. Thanks Stone and Jen!!

Stone and Owen were so rad! Stone helped me pick a Regal Jumping Spider and helped me select a terrarium and food. Super excited and feel like these guys did excellent in knowledge, customer service, and sales. I have no desire to even try to go anywhere else. A forever customer of 5280.

I may not always agree with the prices but this place is hands down the best reptile shop in Colorado when it comes to exotic rare animals. They always make sure they have some of the rarest animals in town. They also have the best selection of isopods at great pricing. Highly recommend a visit to this shop is your in town!

Update: Used to be a daily customer until recent change in management. Absolutely cannot stand the new manager or how he takes care of this location. Will change to 5 stars and return once management has changed.
