My wife and I adopted the sweetest Husky named Juneau from 4P4L. Our pup was 5 years old when we got her and she had a bit of a rough start to her life. She was heart worm positive and needed treatment to cure her of the worms. 4 Paws helped cover the cost of treatment and provided us with all the information and guidance to get Juneau back on her feet and feeling like herself again (the crazy goofy husky she was destined to be). We will 100% look to 4Paws for our next pup as well. It is beyond apparent that everyone involved with the organization loves animals and is dedicated to helping each dog and cat find it’s forever home!

We recently attended an adoption event hosted by 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue, and we couldn't be happier with our experience. We found our newest family member, Kenneth, and the process was incredibly smooth and straightforward. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and guided us through each step with ease. We are truly blessed to have Kenneth in our home and are grateful for the wonderful work that 4 Paws 4 Life Rescue does.

Adopting a pet is a rewarding experience, and we highly recommend considering adoption when looking for a new furry friend. Not only do you provide a loving home to a pet in need, but you also support the amazing efforts of rescue organizations like 4 Paws 4 Life. Thank you for bringing Kenneth into our lives!

I have a son with Autism and severe social anxiety, he's been begging for a therapy dog, which would be beneficial for him the cost 25k-30k was way out of my budget, so I proposed rescuing a dog, maybe a dog that did not have the best life before we meet then but that we could bring so much love to them, so we started our journey. We started with rescue shelters in our area about 185 dogs needing adoption, my son choose 3, as we followed the process and applications at each of these places, we were denied for all 3, they all had severe anxiety from previous bad actors in their lives. So intuitive of my son to pick the ones who he related to with his anxiety, and impressive that these adoptions are taken very seriously and making sure they go to the right homes. The hard part was seeing the heartbreak in my son's eyes. Then I found 4 Paws 4 Life, even though they were farther away. Most of the adoptions were puppies and we wanted a dog that was older 2-4 range, then I scrolled and found Tustin, what drew me to him is that our last 2 dogs (no longer with us) he was a mix of both, it was uncanny, I immediately shared with my son and he fell in love with his pics. I immediately called to see if he was still available, and he was rescued recently from a kill shelter in Roswell, NM. They were very kind, helpful, and answered all my questions and sympathetic to my situation so far on this journey. She said we actually have an event in Park Meadows this weekend, and you've already completed the application, and Tustin will be there, but it was first come, first serve. My son and I showed up right at 10 a.m., and the line was already around the store, and our hearts sank. We went to sign in and saw that the list of people and the dogs they were there to meet, I let her know that Tustin was who we wanted to meet and hopefully adopt, she scanned the list and we were the only one's there to see Tustin. Most wanted the cutie pie puppies. We met Tustin and immediately fell in love. He was so good with my son. The staff and volunteers were absolutely amazing, so very kind, and one even teared up when telling her the story about how Tustin is a mix of our previous dogs. 4 Paws 4 Life truly have compassion, invested in their mission, and saved Tustin's life. Tustin is a blessing from above! He has truly enriched our lives and has been remarkably therapeutic for my son! We love him so much. Thank you, 4 Paws 4 Life, for changing our lives! My son and Tustin have an amazing bond!

We have adopted from 4P4L twice and it has been wonderful. I am now a volunteer after experiencing the heartfelt people and drive of this group to rescue as many animals as possible. They work to place every cat or dog in the best home possible..our puppy mill rescue is just thriving after years of abuse and our new kitty is learning how fun life can be with a whole house to discover..can’t say enough. Rescue is hard, but 4 Paws works to make it easier.🩷. Becky Traver

I adopted my sweet boy from 4P4L over a year ago and had only positive things to say about the rescue. About 6 months ago, we decided to try fostering for them as well. Highly recommend to anyone who travels and can’t commit to a forever pet right now, if your own pup would enjoy a friend spend the night sometimes or just interested in trying it out. They supply you with anything you would need, are so communicative and are great to work with. You can take breaks anytime you need to and they really work with you to make it work for you and your foster pet! Highly recommend for applying or fostering. We will be a 4P4L family forever.
